Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, but I rarely have time to eat anything but grab-and-go meals. Most days this looks like topping a bagel with peanut butter or quickly toasting a protein waffle, but these meals rarely satisfy my cravings and always leave me wanting more. So, I recently decided it was time to turn to Factor for a major upgrade in my morning routine! Factor is the leading meal delivery service for high-protein and calorie-smart meals in 2023. They offer 35 healthy, restaurant-quality meal options each week that are shipped fresh and crafted by gourmet chefs. Here, I'll share 3 of my new favorite breakfast meals from Factor that kickstart my day and prepare me for the day ahead.

Say Goodbye To Boring Breakfasts With These Fantastic Factor Meals

1. Sticky Pecan Pancakes

I can literally eat pancakes all day, every day, so this meal was a must-have in my plan. Not to mention the flavor is perfect for the current season! These pancakes are made with a sticky bun-like batter composed of molasses and cinnamon and are topped with maple-cinnamon candied pecans and sweet date drizzle. They're sweet enough to where you don't need to soak them in syrup or honey like typical pancakes and can be eaten as is. Of course, they come paired with two chicken sausage patties to ensure you get enough protein at breakfast (which is typically a weakness of mine). Each serving contains 660 calories with 61g carbs, 24g protein, and 35g fat.

2. Keto Chorizo Egg Skillet & Jicama Hash

When I'm in the mood for a low-carb meal that's packed with protein and fat, I turn to this Mexcian-inspired breakfast skillet. It combines your usual scrambled eggs with gooey Chihuahua cheese, chorizo, and a medley of roasted bell peppers and onions. As an alternative to traditional potatoes, this meal comes paired with roasted diced jicama and a delicious dressing of ancho chile and lime crema. This breakfast is slightly spicy, but the lime crema mellows it out. Each serving contains 65o calories with 17g carbs, 40g protein, and 48g fat.

3. Creole Egg & Chicken Andouille Sausage Bowl

This Creole-style breakfast is the perfect option for the mornings you want to be smacked with flavor. This skillet's base is composed of roasted red potatoes that are topped with scrambled eggs drenched in chicken andouille sausage gravy and coated with white cheddar. This rich conglomeration is paired with roasted and seasoned poblano and bell peppers touched with a bit of spicy Creole-style hot sauce. Each serving contains 500 calories with 37g carbs, 25g protein, and 28g fat.
