Braless cuties, I love you, but we are not the same. I need support, lift, and shape to feel amazing, and for a long time, I used the “beauty is pain” mentality to make it happen.
Those days are over. The bras of 2024 are elegance, they’re seamless support, and they’re comfort like you wouldn’t believe. To make up for time spent suffering for ultimate support, I tried two of the top day-to-day bras to find the comfiest: the Underoutfit Perfect Neckline Bra and the Wacoal Comfort First. Here’s what you need to know.
The bra with the highest support-to-comfort ratio…Underoutfit

What makes a bra comfortable enough to write an article about it? Basically everything about the Underoutfit Perfect Neckline Bra: sewn-in cups that smooth without shifting around, a knitted front cradle for shape and lift, adjustable straps for a customized fit, and a broad back band for added support. Plus, you can crisscross the straps in the back if you want, making it super versatile.
Don’t get me wrong, Wacoal makes a cute bra with a smooth cup for wear under a T-shirt, but Lord help me, the stitching along the edges is so itchy I couldn’t even pause to assess how any other aspect felt. I had to take that thing off almost immediately after putting it on.
The bra with NO underwire…Both
Once upon a time, wireless bras were flimsy and only meant for either tiny breasts or lingerie. I can’t believe I’ve found a wireless bra for day-to-day wear that not only “does the trick,” but sets the bar.
Underoufit’s Perfect Neckline Bra has padding exactly where you need it (at the fullest part of the bust) and structure where you want it (in the straps). Plus its neckline is designed specifically for V-neck shirts and lower-cut sweaters, so it doesn’t show underneath your clothes.
Wacoal’s Comfort First Wire Free T-Shirt Bra takes the approach of molded cups with a plunge neckline, which seems great in theory. However, in practice, I find it lends itself to gapping, creating a visible edge under my shirt.
The bra you can try for 5 months…Underoutfit

Underoutfit offers a 180-day return or exchange policy on all their bras. That’s over 5 months for you to try this bra in every outfit you own and for every occasion. You can remove the tags, give it a wash, and treat it like your own while you decide. If you want to do a little comparison of your own between the Perfect Neckline bra and another of their models, that 180-day return or exchange window applies to both. That’s the best return policy I’ve ever heard of!
Wacoal's return policy is less generous, allowing returns within 60 days of the original ship date. They do not offer direct exchanges, so if your fit isn’t quite right, you’ll have to return what you have and place a new order.
I’m living my best life in the Underoutfit Perfect Neckline Bra

I didn’t know bras could actually feel so good until I put my Underoutfit bra on my body. The comfortable support, flattering lift, and mind-blowing exchange policy all keep this bra at the top of my list (and my underwear drawer). Not to mention, I often forget I’m wearing it—which is the best compliment you can give a bra!
