Wild Rose by Thorn and Bloom - Full-Size 30ml - Value: $200.00

Top Note: Anies, Tarragon

Wow, this scent is so strong and assertive.  It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s just not my favorite.  I wish it had more of the sweet raspberry to make it a favorite.

Miyako by Auphorie - Full-Size 30ml - Value: $78.00

Top Note: Apricot, Peach

This one I'm also not a fan of.  I really loved the fruity top notes, but there’s something else that makes this a miss for me.  I kind of reminds me of a “just ok” air freshener.  It did the job, but I can't say that I liked it.

Objet Celeste by Volnay - Full Size 3.3oz - Value: $225.00

Top Note: Bergamot, Grapefruit

This was my favorite scent this month!  It wears like a new pillow, so soft and cuddly.  I didn’t have enough of this sample.  I may be a little bias to this scent because my favorite deodorant right now is in Bergamot Sage by The Honest Company.  My nose agrees as this didn’t leave me to sneeze and cough throughout the day.  I could wear it every day...if it were in my budget!

Verdict:  Considering I’m a confessed perfume sampling junkie, it’s hard to say you’ve got a bad box when it’s something you love so much. LOL.  I didn’t fall in love with two of three perfumes this month and that’s ok!  It doesn't upset me because one person can not love every single perfume they come across.  So, let’s stay positive.  I thoroughly enjoyed sampling new perfumes from Scent Trunk this month.  Perfume samples are still one of my favorite products to receive in subscription boxes and Scent Trunk offers subscribers the opportunity to try indy to high-end fragrances from across the globe.  Win!

What are your thoughts on Scent Trunk this month? Have you tried any of the perfumes I received this month?

I’ve been a subscriber for 3 months now, and they’ve made big improvements to the website and personalization in that time. I like getting 3 scents a month and that they’re from lesser-known brands that I can’t just try out in Sephora. Like you, I’ve only liked 1/3 each month, but I still consider that a win because I’m picky with perfume. And allergic to some scents.

Something else I like about the company that I wanted to note is that they give 1.5% of their sales to an organization that fights depression. As someone who has struggled with depression, I appreciate that they donate to the cause.
Here’s what it says on the site (used to be on front page, now just in FAQ):
“What is your #fightdepression campaign?
1.5% of people suffer from persistent depression, and so many of us know someone who has been affected my mental illness. Because scent has the power to change mood, we thought it would be great, if we contributed 1.5% of our sales to fight mental illness. Currently we are giving 1.5% of our sales to the Brain and Behaviour Research Foundation. They are working hard to identify causes, improve treatments and one day prevent and cure mental illness.”
