Cowboy Tote Bag - $15?
This is a nice sturdy cotton tote bag that features the characters from Cowboy Bebop. If you haven't watched this cult classic anime before, do it. I remember learning from my college anime class that Cowboy Bebop was one of the pioneers of the modern "Space Western" genre (think Firefly and the Borderlands games). Unlike other skinny totes I own, this bag has a very wide base so it can carry more stuff. I really appreciate that little difference.
Samurai Lanyard - $8?
Oh boy, I now own so many lanyards due to Akibento and Japan Crate and Doki Doki Crate this month! This one features chibi versions of characters from Rurouni Kenshin. Rurouni Kenshin is an old but great manga series that has turned into anime, light novels, live-action films.
The Anime Man Sticker - $2?
The Anime Man is a YouTube personality featured in this month's info card! This is a bonus item in the box.
Cowboy Bebop Ed and Ein Plush - $13.21
Subscribers receive one of seven different plushes from various anime series. Edward, or Ed, is a 13-year-old master hacker girl in Cowboy Bebop. She's holding Ein the intelligent corgi as well. It's a soft plush and I'm happy to add it to my collection.
Akibento June Pin - $1
This month they must have accidentally given me two pins instead of one. The picture is of Chopper from One Piece flying a plane.
Exclusive Adventure Shirt - $12?
My boyfriend and I adore this month's shirt! Not only is it a nice baby blue but we both like One Piece and he likes Fairy Tail. The characters look very cute crowded on Luffy's ship as well.
One Piece Styling Suit & Dress Style 2 Usopp Figure - $16?
Subscribers receive one of eleven One Piece figures. I got Usopp in spiffy suit and tie! It's a beautifully made collectible figure. The base and Usopp's slingshot are detachable for easy storage.
Verdict: I estimated the total value to be $66.21, which is more than twice the cost of subscription plus shipping! I don't know if it's because I recognize these anime/manga series more or curation is getting better, but I really enjoyed this month's box. The Usopp figure is very well made and the wide tote bag is great. I continue to be happy with my monthly Akibento!
