Each SprezzaBox comes with an insert card. One side is a note from the editors and the other lists each product included in the box and it’s retail value. This June is the Madison Box. It came in two color options red and yellow. The editor's note this month brings much warmer weather to NYC and they have curated another box with light weight fabrics in trend. The Madison box is named after Madison Square Park and they also extend a Father's Day greeting for all the subscribers.
Taft - Invisible (No Show) Socks - $14.00
I believe this is the second or third pair of "no show" socks John has received in a subscription box. He loves them so much started purchasing a few on his own. I've tried a pair of women's socks like this and I can't seem to keep them on my feet! LOL. What am I doing wrong? Any who, if you decide to make an order, you can use the code they provided SprezzaBox subscribers: SPREZZA20 for 20% off your order.
The Laundress Wash & Stain Bar (2oz) - $6.00
Interesting! I don't believe we've received laundry items outside of the Honest Company in a subscription service. John hasn't used this laundry soap yet. It says that you can pre-treat and launder with just this soap bar. You can use it to lift collar rings and sweat stains. It doesn't have a distinct fragrance and it appears that you could get at least a dozen+ washes with this bar alone.
SprezzaBox - Lapel Pin in Fleur de Lis - $15.00
This pin is really nice for John. The fleur-de-lis symbol is on Louisville's flag and seal and is seen throughout local shops and businesses. I love it!
Steel Cigar Cutter - $11.00
John doesn't smoke, and neither do I. Our card says SprezzaBox does not promote or encourage the use of tobacco and says you can use this to chop carrots if you so desire.
Bedford & Broome - Pocket Square - $18.00
This pocket square is very patriotic. I love the denim feel and the sharp stars. Definitely a statement maker for a dress suit, but I love the way Instagrammers are pairing this piece with linen and cotton blazers.
Mosaic Menswear - Necktie in Gingham - $35.00
Believe it or not, John hasn't worn this tie yet. I'm going to say it's not his favorite. Usually the tie and socks are the main things that I have to ask John to give back so that I can review them. This time, it's still in the box. I think it's adorable and has summer fun and grilling all over it! I'm sure he'll warm up to it in the coming month.
Verdict: This June SprezzaBox had an estimated retail value of $99.00! SprezzaBox consistently curates boxes that make sense for the season and the subscriber. We personally may not be a fan of the cigar cutter, but I think they are doing an excellent job of balancing various lifestyles without offending subscribers. Everything is done with good taste.
