Here is a sneak peek at some of the beauty item Add-Ons for the Winter box. (I've listed out the retail prices, but we don't know the discounted FabFitFun prices yet.)
I love a neutral nail color! (I've been greige-ing it up lately, but now it's time for beige-ing!)
These three shades have pink undertones.
NCLA Nudes in Volume III
This one is a high-shine creme with an understated iridescence.
NCLA Nudes in Volume IV
This is a pure high-shine creme, with more of mauve nude color.
NCLA Nudes in Volume II
This shade has the most shimmer out of all the shades. Here are the first three shades on:
NCLA Nudes in Volume IV on the right, NCLA Nudes in Volume III on the left, and NCLA Nudes in Volume II in the middle.
NCLA Nudes in Volume I
This is a peachy creme shade - and my new favorite in the bunch!
NCLA Nudes in Volume V
This is a lovely greige creme - my nail polish go-to!
NCLA Nudes in Volume VI
This one is a mocha-grey high-shine creme. Here are the shades on:
NCLA Nudes in Volume VI on my pointer finger, NCLA Nudes in Volume V on my thumb and middle finger, NCLA Nudes in Volume I on the right.
Each of these nail polishes only took two coats for full coverage, and I was happy with how quickly the formula dried, too. (Plus, those gorgeous colors!)
(We don't know what the Add-On pricing will be for this set, but each polish retails for $16.)
Next up, Butter London!
Butter London Plush Rush Lipstick in Provocative - (Retail Price $22)
(This lipstick has a slick magnetic closure to secure the cap.)
This is a rich berry shade that seems very appropriate for the holidays. It's a moisturizing formula and it packs a good amount of pigment, too. (Swatched in lower photo.)
Butter London Simply Sweet Blush Clutch (Retail Price $39)
This blush and highlighting palette comes with a tip guide, too:
Beautiful packaging:
This set includes:
- Peony (soft peach shimmer)
- Blossom (matte warm nude)
- Poppy (matte coral)
(I can never get enough matte bronzer - Blossom is great!)
And this set also comes with a little highlighter pen:
The loose pigment is in the cap, so there isn't a ton of product in this pen, but you can get really good precision with the application from the smudger tool. (And the formula was easy to blend.)
Here are all shades swatched underneath the lipstick:
(Lipstick, Peony, Blossom, Poppy, Highlighter.)
FYI - I did multiple swipes of each shade to show the color and pigment, but you can blend and build these blush/bronzer shades easily.
Dome Beauty 3 Brush Set + Eyeshadows
This brand is new to me and I'm impressed with the brushes and formulas.
Dome Beauty Brush Set (Retail Price $65)
This brush set is so well designed (the case is a neoprene-like material that keeps the bristles on the brushes in perfect shape), and I love the matte grey finish on the handles.
Dome Diamond Shadow in Steel - Retail Price $29
This shade is a shimmery metallic grey with impressive pigment. (Swatched in lower photo.)
Dome Diamond Shadow in Copper - Retail Price $29
Just like the other shade, this metallic has seriously impressive pigment and shimmer! (Swatched in lower photo.)
Beauty For Real Shadow Stx in All Day Latte - Retail Price $19
These eyeshadow sticks were super easy to apply, and the packaging includes a built-in sharpener:
Beauty For Real Shadow Stx in Ever Starstruck - Retail Price $19
This shade is a champagne shimmer and the formula blends well, so it could double as an all-over highlighter.
I recommend using a primer with these! Here are all eye shadow shades swatched:
(All Day Latte, Ever Starstruck, Steel, Copper)
Juara Tiare Jasmine Perfume Oil - Retail Price $28
This roll-on perfume is Alcohol-free. Paraben-free. Petroleum-free. Free of artificial colorants. 100% Vegetarian!
If you like floral scents, I think you will be a fan of this perfume. I'm not normally a floral scent person, but this one is even winning me over!
JUARA Candlenut Body Creme – Retail Price $38
This was in the FabFitFun Winter 2015 box, and I think it is a perfect beauty item for the winter, so I'm not surprised they brought it back!
It is such a decadent body cream! And considering how thick the cream is, I’m impressed with how quickly it absorbs. (This isn’t one of those body butters that leaves your skin feeling a little greasy). And, it is paraben-free!
And that is the Add-On round up! What do you think of the revealed products so far? Are you planning on adding any to your box?
If you haven't signed up for FabFitFun you can still get access to Add-Ons! Use coupon code MSA10 to save $10 off your first box. (This box is regularly $49.99 a quarter).
