Pure Cosmetics Nude Collection – Value $50

fabfitfun_092016-035

This palette is free of parabens, sulfates, fragrance, and triclosans. Plus it is cruelty-free!

fabfitfun_092016-036

This palette is a mix of matte and shimmer shadows. (Very similar to this one.)

The colors are gorgeous, the blending brush works well, too:

Most importantly, I’m happy to report that the pigment is great!

Here are all the shades swatched:

The Created Co. To-Go Coffee Mug – Value $19

This plastic mug holds 16 oz . Subscribers will receive this version or the “Joy Comes In The Morning” mug

And in case you missed the first revealed spoiler:

fabfitfun_092016-011

ModCloth Loch and Key Blanket Scarf – Value $34.99

fabfitfun_092016-012

There are 4 different color variations, so you may receive a different color than pictured.

fabfitfun_092016-013

The scarf measures 55 by 55 inches, is made from 100% acrylic, and is very soft – not itchy at all.

This scarf is BIG!

fabfitfun_092016-050

The “blanket” description of this scarf is very accurate! The material is lightweight, though, so it keeps this scarf from being too bulky.

There are tons of ways to style this, and for the first look I went with my tried and true method I apply to any large scarf – turn it into a circle scarf:

fabfitfun_092016-051

Here is the multi-color plaid scarf styled with the simple over-the-shoulder approach:

fabfitfun_092016-054

And the black and white scarf as a wrap:

fabfitfun_092016-052

I think this scarf is a really versatile piece, super cozy, and the patterns are classic, too! (Plus this comes folded in the ModCloth wrapper, so it’s also ready to gift if you prefer!)

(Check out all of my FabFitFun reviews to see what's been in past boxes).

Are you going to get an Editor's Box? This looks like an amazing box and I definitely recommend grabbing one before they are gone on the 12th!

I feel like a little kid that I’m disappointed but I really feel duped, every single “unboxing” and picture showed that stupid palette and as someone who was a new subscriber I didn’t realize the “bonus” items. I just thought that’s the box, that’s what I’m seeing everywhere. They don’t really break the truth to you until after they have your money.

If anyone wants the $50 pure palette I have it on swap right now. New and no swatches. I prefer multi-swaps. Click on my name to see my profile, see if you like anything else and then request. I’ll look at your stuff and see what I like, and maybe we will have a match. 😀

Just throwing this out there. 🙂

I was actually thinkng about joining until I find that fff also practices baiting and switching or shi**y misleading videos. Im a spender but not a stupid one. I think they should apologize largely for this ad above called an ‘unboxing’

Debbie

Confused, I thought the nude palette was going to be in my box and it wasn’t. Disappointing.

Reply ButtonReply

Amanda

So what did you get?

Reply ButtonReply

Heidi

Amanda, I got the scarf, the mug, the lip gloss, mineral face peel, the argon oil styling oil, coloring book and pencils, nail polish, the necklace, and the eye shadow pallette. I was extatic. I also used the code pure to ensure I got the pallette.

Amanda

What did you get instead?

Debra Trentacosta

Of the mystery gifts I received the nail polish. I didn’t learn that the palette wasn’t included until after I received my box. The video with Lisa R I gave the impression the palette was included. Was completely misled.

Jen Perkins

I just signed up last week and tried to use the “PURE” coupon code so that I could get the eye-shadow in mine for sure but it wouldn’t accept the coupon. So, while I was on the checkout page (before completing) I used the chat to get some help. The person told me to complete the order and she would go in and make sure I would get it. She told me it would come in the box. Just thought I would let you all know in case somebody was wanting to sign-up mainly for the palette. It’s worth a shot, just make sure if they tell you it’ll be in there, you get the chat transcript sent to your email. 🙂 Hope this helps someone.

I did get my box today and put my link on my Facebook to try and get more customers. However, I am very upset that I also did not get the palette!!!!! 😳I did everything I was told to do. I also went in tonight and “Shopped” I tried to buy the Keriten Gloves hands and feet. It keeps stating you have 2 in stock but, would not allow me to buy 1. My experience has been 80% Great and 20% horrible. I wish you could at least send me the palette I would purchase the hands and feet but, I do not see that happening. If you can straighten out the palette etc… I will post another comment and give you a better grade. I am looking forward to my other boxes. No, I did not receive a bonus gift my box had almost everything everyone had minus palette. ☹️🤷‍♀️

Now that makes me a bit mad as I also used the chat to try to ensure I get the palette and they said they couldn’t do that!

Reply ButtonReply

Heidi

I used the code to ensure I got the pallette, and it worked and took the code, and gave me $12 off, but my cousin signed up for the editors box the same day I did, and only used the code for 10% off, and mine and hers came today and she also got the pallette. So hopefully you all will still get it.

Cara

The Beach Butter Body Cream sounds nice, so does the pallet…my editor’s box is on its way to me! I should have it soon!

Reply ButtonReply

Kaylyn

I just got my box and the beach butter body cream is amazing! No pallet tho 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Heidi

I got my editors box today, it had the eyeshadow pallette in it, the Marrakesh hair oil, Zoya nail polish, gold necklace, coffee mug, blanket scarf, coloring book and pencils, O.R.G skincare mineral peel, and Manna Kadar lip gloss. Very happy with it.

Reply ButtonReply

Miranda

I hope that is exactly what I get. Ordered on 1/15 just received email that it shipped!!! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Lisa Montgomery

I received the same items as you except instead of the palette (which I expected and am upset I did not receive) I got the BEST body moisturizer I ever have had and I will own it for a lifetime: Anderson Lilley No.1 Winter in Manhattan Beach. I really wanted that palette, but love the box. LOVE the hair oil!!! And have not taken off my love necklace since the day the box arrived (Dec. 27). Unfortunately I won’t remain a client and won’t push the other two whom I have been trying to get to sign up. That palette is a deal breaker for me. So sorry.

Amanda

Wait why did you end up with 9 things when we were only supposed to get 8?

Michelle

What color scarves are people getting? I’m considering the editors box, mostly because of the scarf, but I’m only interested in some of the colors.

Mooglebee

Hey Liz, just thinking you might want to put a link directly to the FFF website article to clarify the contents of the box. Just trying to help others 🙂

Georgina

I’m confused, if I order this now do I get the eyeshadow palette? It’s the only thing besides the scarf that I’m interested in. If it’s guaranteed that it’ll be in the box, it would make deciding so much easier. Please clarify.

Reply ButtonReply

Georgina

Sorry, just also noticed that you were supposed to order before Nov 12th, is it too late now to order the fall box? Thanks

Reply ButtonReply

Mooglebee

Sadly, there’s only a CHANCE you’ll receive the palette. (Fingers Crossed! XX)
I was confused as well, so I asked FFF –
***This is directly from their website***

Each Editor’s Box includes:

Modcloth Loch and Key Scarf $34.99
The Created Co. To-Go Coffee Mug $19
FabFitFun Coloring Book & Colored Pencils $14
Manna Kadar Liplocked Priming Gloss Stain $24
Marrakesh Argan & Hemp Hair Oil $22.99
O.R.G. Skincare Mineral Peel Face $44
Jook & Nona Tag Necklace $65

Plus, you’ll get one of the following bonus mystery items:

Pure Cosmetics Nude Collection Eyeshadow Palette $50
OSEA Atmosphere Protection Cream $48
Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster $56
Zoya Nail Polish $9
Anderson Lilley Beach Butter Body Cream $24

Are we getting the eye shadow nude palette FOR SURE? The other items are like $12 items (nail polish or lip gloss)… It doesn’t seem fair if we get a lip gloss and somebody else gets the eye shadow palette… not the same value… I’m confused now. I ordered this box and have made my selects so I know for sure which scarf and colouring book I’m getting…

Reply ButtonReply

Heidi

The eye shadow pallette is a variation, I signed up for the box mainly for the pallette, and didn’t find out till after that it was a variation. So hopefully I won’t be disapointed.

Reply ButtonReply

Sue

I did the same thing! I signed up mainly for the palette and am SO bummed to hear it may not be in my box.

Brooke

Is the ‘editors’ box the same as the ‘select’ box? I get a yearly subscription of the select already. Love that I get a sneak peak of a few things in the box AND I get to pick if their is options.

Reply ButtonReply

Phoelix

Yup, too good to be true. Glad to save at least $40!

Reply ButtonReply

Amanda Vela

I thought we were getting like 10 items not 8, I kind of regret signing up now. I know it’s still a good value but I would have waited for the spring box, can you cancel within 24 hours or am I stuck?

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley Odabashian

i did the same thing…. i feel like an idiot kind of for jumping that fast but at the same time it seems kind of wrong that we were told differently… but again i guess we don’t have to come on here lol 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

debbie

I want this so badly! I keep opening the thread, looking at the spoilers, this is a great box. . . . . But – must hold out for black Friday! I just can’t sign up for anything new.. Shouldn’t sign up. but might have to anyway. limited self control at this point!

Reply ButtonReply

AmySoup777

I have to agree that this sounds like the fall box 2.0. It IS better than the fall box, which I have no interest in, but the peel alone is not enough value to me personally to sign up. I’m HOPING, desperately HOPING that the next Editor’s box will be leftovers from the Winter box that I DO want. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Heidi

I am very excited to get this box, the scarf, the nude collection pallettw, the mug, the coloring book and pencils, and everything else. Very excited about the nude pallette and the scaf. The part that is going to be hard is having to wait till late December to early January to get it. But as long as all these are in it I will be very satisfied.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

FYI – Just added the confirmed variation possibilities at the top of this post. Turns out the palette may not be in all boxes.

Sorry for any confusion. The unboxing video for this box did not mention that she was showing all variants. FabFitFun has confirmed the info at the top of the post.

Anna C.

Thank you for the clarification before I purchased this, I really want the palette so the chance of not getting it makes it a whole lot less thrilling.

Becca Mari

I really hope i get the pallete. Is FFF good about curating based on your profile? I really hope so because i will be disappointed if i get the nail polish.

Kate N.

Thanks for the clarification. It’s still a great box! And, at least the “bonus” items are pretty equal in value (all hovering near the $50 value). The worst is when a few people get super high value items, and the majority get something lame (Allure, I’m looking at you!). Excited to get my box…wish it would be here in time for Christmas, though! Although, if it doesn’t get here until AFTER, I won’t be tempted to give away stuff as presents…hmmm….

Amanda Vela

I recently got the Urban Decay Naked palette from my sister for my birthday last month so I think I will be swapping the pure cosmetics palette. Do I cancel after I receive my box in the mail or can I do it now since I ordered? I don’t want to renew and get the next box in the spring if I do not like the spoilers.

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley

I don’t understand why my comment was deleted… I was confirming something from their page.

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley

^ And after I posted this, it’s back. Sorry, must have glitched.

Reply ButtonReply

Wendy

Well just FYI, my last box was spring 2015 and I tried to sign up using the same e next box is spring. Tried it with a different email, same name and address and it somehow matched my name and address and send me to my original account page and ask me to re activate with the spring box. Ugh

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley

FFF had posted that everyone subbed by the 12th would get the Argan oil and lip gloss. People were complaining about the photo used, so I think that’s why they took it down, but I have a screenshot of it.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

FYI – Just added the confirmed variation possibilities at the top of this post. Hope that helps! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley

Whoops, looks like it’s just hidden from their timeline.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy D

I’m so confused. I just watched a couple youtube videos where people got completely different things in their Editors box. The box listed here sounds awesome and I would totally buy this. The one CoffeeBreakWithDani and Yungin19 got on youtube doesn’t interest me at all.

Reply ButtonReply

Daisy

I agree! I would be so disappointed in the other box. I hope these spoilers are accurate.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

FYI – Just added the confirmed variation possibilities at the top of this post.

Reply ButtonReply

Becca Mari

I just customized my box. I picked the black and white blanket scarf and the nature coloring book. It looks like the blue and green scarf is not available, just the black and white and the one with red. You get to choose between Nature or Things for the coloring book.

Reply ButtonReply

Laurie

Thanks for the tip! I will see if I can figure out how to do the same 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Laurie

I signed up for this one for sure! What a great deal! I had actually already ordered 2 of the blanket scarves on Amazon for $7 each and love them so hopefully I will get one of the two color variations I did not purchase. I can’t believe the value of this box! I just wish it shipped before December/January.

Reply ButtonReply

Becca Mari

Me too! I can’t wait to get this box. It will be my first one and I’m so excited. I wish it shipped out now!

Reply ButtonReply

Beth L

Thank you for info Diniella. I ran right over and I in between gold and silver right now. I love gold but these last few years its been silver.

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

Can current annual subscribers get the Editor’s Box?

Reply ButtonReply

Khaleesi

So…this looks like Fall box no 2 plus the peel spray. I’m more excited about the bonus items(s)!
