Gypsy05 Roundie - Value $50

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0087

This is the Blue Tie Dye Roundie. If you are an annual subscriber, you were able to select your roundie pattern. If you're a quarterly subscriber, you'll be surprised by which pattern you receive. Check out all the roundies here.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0088

The roundie is made from 100% Cotton and it measures about 62.5 inches across. (Machine wash cold, hang dry.)

These roundies are a lightweight fabric, so they’re great for layering. We used this one to give basic bedding a new look:

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0091(1)

They also work great for the beach, picnic blankets, etc. (Check out our spoiler review post to see other styling ideas, too!)

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0050

MILLY Zip Pouch - Value $45

(Dimensions: 10 1/4″ x 8″)

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0051

This pouch is water resistant inside, so it's great for a bathing suit bag or a cosmetics bag.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0052

And it has a wristlet strap, so it could double as a beach clutch.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0110

Subscribers will receive one of four pastel patterns.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0064

Emerald Duv Joshua Tree Cage Bracelet - Value $80

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0065

This season, FabFitFun introduced Choice - subscribers could pick between two jewelry brands/item descriptions, but the actual item would be a surprise!

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0067

This cuff is gold-plated brass, and fits my style well! Here it is on:

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0068

It's made in the USA, too!

And FabFitFun sent us the other choice item to show you both options. (Subscribers will only receive ONE of these two jewelry items).

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0058

LUV AJ Diamond Kite Crawler Earring Set - Value $85

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0059

This set can be worn together or separately as just studs.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0060

These are made from Brass with Swarovski Crystals, with rose gold plating.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0063

And they are Hypoallergenic, too! Here are the cuffs on (pinched over my ear lobe):

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0113

No piercing needed to wear them this way!

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0006

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish Set in Blue Orchid/Like a Virgin - Value $19

These polishes are minis - a little over half the size of the full-size versions.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0007

Subscribers will either receive this set or the Shape of My Heart Duet set.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0008

I love Deborah Lippmann polish, so I was thrilled to see this set in the box!

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0009

The white polish goes on sheer/cloudy, so you'll need 3 coats to get a full coverage, 2 coats for full coverage in the blue polish. Here are the shades on:

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0112

This is one of the best nail polish formulas I've worn - I had no chipping for days!

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0105

Karuna Hydrating+ Face Mask Set - Value $28

This set includes 4 sheet masks:

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0107

These masks are all about hydration, and that's exactly what my skin needed this week! You wear the mask for about 20 minutes, then remove and let any remaining serum absorb.

So, I got to continue my fun tradition of scaring my husband while wearing a sheet mask, and my skin felt great after wearing it, too!

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0030

REALHER Lip Kit in Deep Red - Value $48

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0032

Subscribers will receive either Deep Red (pictured here), Deep Nude, or Neutral Pink.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0033

This set includes a Matte Liquid Lipstick, Lip Plumping Lip Gloss, and a Lip Liner.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0037

The lip gloss provides excellent pigment and shine (and impressive staying power for a gloss), but it is a tad sticky.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0035

The matte lip stick is also very impressive with staying power - it lasted all day for me. Same with the lip liner:

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0039

Here are all the lippies swatched:

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0040

Deep Red liquid lipstick, lipgloss, and liner, Deep nude liquid lipstick, and liner, and Neutral Pink liquid lipstick, lipgloss, and liner.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0103

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator – Value $79

I was thrilled to see this item in the box! (A $79 amazing beauty item that wasn't one of the spoilers? Yes!)

If you aren't familiar with this exfoliator, it’s a highly-rated cult favorite beauty product!

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0104

The formula is an ultra-fine scrub you can use 1-2 times a week. I love the minty fresh scent, and how smooth it makes my skin feel. (I’ve seen a lot of reviewers mention it helped them with whiteheads/acne, etc.)

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0099

Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray - Value $20

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0100

The Briogeo haircare line is ingredient conscious (which I love), but I've had mixed results with their products, so I decided to use this spray very sparingly at first.

I love the scent, and I found giving my damp hair a light spray left it feeling softer, too. So, this one works well for me, but based on some reviews I've seen on Sephora, I definitely recommend using minimal sprays per use to see how it works with your hair.

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0097

And our fitness item for this box is FabFitFun TV!

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0098

All subscribers will get access to a variety of workout videos. (even if you haven't received your Spring box yet, you have access to the videos now!)

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0101

Nature’s Bounty Hair Skin and Nails Vitamins (40 count) - Sponsored Item

(These gummies are an extra in the box that don't count toward the total value of the box for subscribers.)

Fab-fit-fun-spring-2017-0108

I take a collagen and biotin supplement daily, so I'm always happy to try out a new biotin vitamin - especially when it is in gummy form!

These strawberry gummies were good! (And they are free of lactose, gluten, and artificial flavors/sweeteners!)

Verdict: This box has a value of $369!!! (And that's not counting any value for the FabFitFun TV channel access, or the bonus gummies.) As always, I find myself saying, "I don't know how they do it!"

I'm so impressed with the high-end beauty brands they included. (And the Dr. Brandt, Karuna, Briogeo, and RealHer products are all paraben, sulfate, and phthalate free, too!)

The Roundie and Zip Pouch are great summer staples, and I was originally thinking they would make more sense in a Summer box, but considering the FabFitFun Summer box won't ship until June, it's great to have these items in advance for any warm Spring days!

And I love that FabFitFun let all subscribers pick between a bracelet or earrings. (Jewelry is one of those items in subscription boxes that can be pretty taste-specific!)

I have just received my first FFF box with the three bonus items. Am I glad I got them!

The whole box is underwhelming to me partly because of the inflated retail prices listed. No way that cuff bracelet is worth $80! Or the roundie – I’d pay $5 for this quality.

The Real Her set I got is in nude – I am a red lip girl. Will try to swap it. The nail polish is going to be gifted along with the face masks, Milly pouch and both bracelets. I am stocked with gifts, can’t complain, but I had unsubscribed and will only go back for a similar promotion.

And I didn’t get the gummies..

Has anyone tried to use the dr brandt 40% off code? It is not working for me and was wondering if there are exclusions.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz

Been eyeing this box for a while. Liked allot of whats in this one. So I caved! Hoping desperately for the pink lip kit!!
$50 is way too much for me to spend on a sub box though, so I’ll have to cancel after this one.
I’ll def be swapping the gypsy thingy lol 🙂

Katy

I pretty much love my box. I do wish the roundie was a little thicker. My only real distaste in it is the blood red looking lipstick. I didn’t even open it and I am trying to come up with someone to gift it to. That and the cord on the Milly bag. I love the bag itself and think it is very well made so I don’t understand why it has such a cheap looking cord on it. I will use it and enjoy it regardless. I just wish the quality of the cord matched the quality of the bag itself. Other than those minor things, I am very very happy with my box and I can’t wait to see what’s up for summer.

I’ve been emailed 3 different tracking labels and none of them work. They are fake – pre-shipment. Their chat customer service is an offshore service and they keep repeating the same lines – and nothing gets solved. I have been working w/ them for 24 days trying to get my box and add-ons. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Horrible customer experience.

Reply ButtonReply

Slynne

I’ve been generally happy with FFF … BUT I don’t waste time with their chat. I’ve only ever gotten useful info during chat when I’m simply telling them something, like today when an item showing for sale was wrong.

I have gotten much better results waiting for the customer care response to emails, even though there is a wait during the busy times (like now). I’ve been an annual subscriber for the past two or three boxes, and I get add-ons, so mine ship out in the first tier although I live all the way on the East Coast so shipping takes a while.

My suggestion would be to try the email method, state your problem AND suggest a remedy/compensation if there is an issue that requires one. That method has worked for me. That and waiting a few days for a reply during busy period. When they aren’t in middle of a sale or shipping season, they answer pretty fast.

I’m really sorry that you’ve had such a bad time with them!

Anyone wash their roundie yet? I don’t see any care instructions on it.

Reply ButtonReply

Lunalee

The instructions were on the label. Maybe yours is missing. Wash cold, hang dry. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Let me know if you find it.

Reply ButtonReply

Jenny

Thanks so much!!! It was either missing or I overlooked it so I appreciate you commenting 🙂

Slynne

I didn’t even check that … perhaps on the manufacturer’s website there are instructions? (I hate when I inadvertently wash something incorrectly and ruin it!!)

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

Anyone else have this problem?
I signed up early for $10 upgrade for choice to get both jewelry items. Took forever to get my box and finally arrived yesterday with only earrings. No bracelet. Turns out they didnt charge me for choice. But i had triple checked that i signed up for it 🙁
Customer service not much help. Not sure why that happened. Thinking of doing the upgrade wherr u get to make all the selections but not sure now….

Reply ButtonReply

Slynne

I think they mentioned that the double jewelry option was conditioned on availability.

In the add-ons, I had one of my purchased items not show up … apparently it was “oversold” or the inventory amount wasn’t correctly entered when the shipment was received. (It was the Dijon tote, which I really wanted.)

I mention that b/c maybe something similar happened with your shipment – perhaps they ran out of one of the jewelry items unexpectedly.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

Yes, I think that is exactly what happened but they are not saying it.

They replied to my saying those that had signed up for the $10 choice jewelry selection had been billed by March 6 ans I wasnt billed until March 20.

Kim

I just got my spring box and there are no vitamin gummies. I know they’re supposed to be free but that is really upsetting. 😣

Reply ButtonReply

Wendy

This was my first box and let me just say I was blown away!

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

The spring box was my first FFF box. I thought I would give it a try. It was ok, didn’t wow me. The lipstick was WAY too dark for me, the earrings seemed cheap, and the round thing did too. Not super impressed. I’m going to try a different box.

Reply ButtonReply

Diann

This is my third FFF box and I think it’s the best one so far! The selling point was the Roundie, but I think I will use just about everything in here!

Reply ButtonReply

Shawn

Received my box today. My cage bracelet is broken. I am missing the Karuna masks. The Briogeo is missing the lid. I swear this is a used/returned box. Oh and my zip pouch says Haute Mess. Yep, that sums up my box!

Reply ButtonReply

AH

Oh no! That is so unfortunate! I hope you can get it resolved without too much time and effort! I now have anxiety that when my box shows up next week, it will be missing items or have damaged items or a combo of both. And it does have to travel across the entire US.
On another note, I used the invoice code key below, and I am getting the warm geometric roundie. I would love to get the tie dye! I am on the swap site. I’ll probably wait until my box arrives to add the listings since I am a little concerned I may not get actually what I am coded to get. It sounds like the warehouse really got swamped or something. I’ve never had anything but perfection with FFF. I’ve subscribed on and off for over a year. It truly is so much stuff and value, no matter if their jewelry has inflated pricing. I don’t feel like inflated pricing on costume jewelry is anything new or surprising lol.

Reply ButtonReply

Jacki

I’m nervous about the condition my box will arrive in too! I am getting the tie dye but prefer one of the others.

Julie

Hey did anyone else get anything out of the ordinary in their mystery bundle? Mine had two products from fabfitfun and the third was a broken dollar store necklace. I emailed them about it and the response was:

“Checking in your account, and the picture that you have sent to me. I can see that there’s no product that you have ordered in add-on like this. However, for the 15% credit that would be equivalent to $7.50 will be added to your account and you may use this for your next purchase. Also, as much as I would like to go in a details for the damaged jewelry that you have received, I cannot go into process since the jewelry has no brand, name, tag or any identification. As I went ahead also and checked in our warehouse if we do have stocks like this kind of jewelry. Unfortunately, we have no item/jewelry like this.

I hope this clarifies. Just let me know, if there is anything else I can assist you with, please do not hesitate to reach out! Have a lovely day, Julie! 💖
Sending Happiness”

Just wondering if i’m the only one that got a bait and switch! Mystery bundles are the perfect thing for shady employees to use… and he just confirmed that’s what I got.

Reply ButtonReply

Julia

I wonder if an employee put in a cheap necklace in exchange for something really nice. If it were in the actual box, you’d have a dollar value that needs to be replaced, but they really messed it up for you. I’m so sorry. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Slynne

That is so weird, getting a dollar store necklace. What were the other items? And why a 15% credit instead of a 33% one since one of three items was … weird.

I’ve debated before about getting a mystery bundle. I always wonder if it is worth the $29 or so.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

This was a great box for me. I was thrilled to get the red lipstick and braced myself in anticipation of an ugly roundie, but I got the tie dye design that I wanted. I did receive the Haute Mess bag, which I would trade for Beach Please if I make my way to the swap site.

Reply ButtonReply

Julia

I’m a little disappointed about a few of my products. The RealHer liquid lipstick in pink is so drying! I gave it a second shot yesterday, and it was cracking and flaking off my lips in no time. 🙁 I was also let down by the nail polish. The blue was mediocre in 3 coats, but the white was still streaky and patchy in 4 coats.

Of course there’s always a possibility you just won’t like something, but I really was hoping I’d love the lipstick. The color is flattering on me, but that formula…

Reply ButtonReply

L

Got my box today! Call me crazy but I swear the Dr Brandt blue tube is not the same formula as the black one! The former is less “beadie” therefore not as exfoliating. Did anybody notice the difference??

Also not liking the Deborah Lippmann polish. It’s tooooo translucent. You need a hundred coats to make it opaque. My Briogeo sprayer is also broken! 😀

Well I still love the box though! Haha

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa N

I would say that this box had more misses than hits. my editors box was dead on mostly, so this is the first of the seasonal boxes for me.

I dont do costume jewelry, so I am putting aside for my nieces to look through. I kind of wish I could have picked a first or second choice for the lip care kit, since i was hoping i wouldn’t get red – and of course I did. I never wear dark lippies.

I didn’t think I would like the round, we don’t live near a beach, but it is really kind of cute draped over the corner of my guest room bed, so I won’t complain to much. it gives the room a bit of personality.

Am excited about the hair care and masks, but I got the pink version of the lippmann kit, and also got the pink zoya nail color in the last box, so it’s a bummer. I don’t do ballet pink nails, would have really liked the blue version instead.

I guess i wish that you had some options to choose, without having to buy the whole month upfront. This was one of the reasons I dropped off the birch box subscription, my preferences were never part of the box selection. Ah well, will see what summer brings around.

I ordered the Spring box. It still hasn’t shipped. It’s status has been marked as waiting for pick up for a week and a half. I have repeatedly contacted customer service about this. The issue has not been resolved and my online chats are frequently disconnected, and it takes them days to respond to emails. I requested a phone number so I can speak with someone, but no one responded to my request for a phone number. I was literally chatting with them for 45 minutes yesterday. They chat was disconnected three or four times, with long waiting periods in between responses, and no resolution. It’s been an insult and a time suck.

Reply ButtonReply

Dani

I have the same problem. Customer service is not very helpful and they always tell me a different version like e.g. it has been only 7 days when it has been 13 business days. Please keep me updated about what happens with your box. This one will be my first and my last box.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Has anyone who is getting a replacement briogeo product received it or gotten shipping details yet?

Reply ButtonReply

Slynne

I had two missing items that are in-stock and will be shipped, and one item – Dijon tote – that I really wanted, and they were oversold (or inventory wasn’t fully delivered.) Also had a few damaged liquid items including the Briogeo in the Spring box, still pending delivery.

I try to remember that the three weeks or so after add-ons close, they are crazy busy with shipping. Some people got “free” items that they didn’t pay for – I’m jealous, I guess … or annoyed if someone else got my Dijon tote and didn’t pay for it! (That was my fave color.)

The Customer Care people have, overall, been helpful to me since I signed up in Spring 2016. Sometimes I get annoyed at the person on chat who doesn’t seem to be listening to what I’m saying so I’ve had better luck with the Care team on email. I’ve never tried phone, and I remember a couple people saying they were rude / unhelpful so I probably won’t try the phone method.

I think I selected the wrong roundie – I think the tie die blue would have been a better choice. I did love the purple Spring box itself, though. Really pretty! The Briogeo got all over the inside though, and messed it up. Yes, I actually asked them for another empty purple Spring box! LOL …

What color boxes did everyone get? I was told there was yellow, orange, purple and blue. I saw the yellow on this page and didn’t really like it. I’m thinking I’d like the blue, too. Anyone?

Reply ButtonReply

Lunalee

I got mine today, and everything was in great condition. I got the purple box, red real her set, blue tie dye roundie, haute mess bag, light blue nail polish and cuff.

Britt

Mine finally shipped! According to the codes I’m getting tie dye roundie, red lip kit, and cuff. Super happy. At first I wanted the earrings but with so many people having problems with them I changed my mind and wanted the cuff. Yay! I didn’t get to choose so it’s just random that I got what I wanted. Now hopefully all is good when I get it and open it.

Reply ButtonReply

Darlene

Where do you find out what the codes mean? My code is 1701-DO-1A and I have no idea what I’m getting!

Reply ButtonReply

Lunalee

Someone made a post below with the codes. I also got 1A today. It was the blue tie dye roundie, the red real her set, and the cuff. My post is also below about everything else I got.

Lunalee

Mine ended in 1A too. I also wanted the earrings at 1st, but not now with all of the problems. It is going to take a whole week to get here!

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Coburn

Question If i signed up today would i get this box? Or would i be getting the Editors box since I’m a first time subscriber?

Reply ButtonReply

Slynne

I think they have phased out the Editor’s Box. Supposedly the Editor’s Box was created because they sold out of Winter 2016 boxes … although they offered some Winter 2016 boxes during the add-ons. I did like the Editor’s Box. Got that one when I could to get different color scarf. And then they offered the scarves during add-ons so I could have waited!

I haven’t read about them being sold out of Spring 2017 boxes yet. Pretty sure new people get those.

Reply ButtonReply

Janet

My box got here today! I’m happy to have gotten the slay all day pouch (the only variant I like) and the blue nail polish (I got pale pink in the RZ box so I’m happy to have something different). My cats like the roundie (epic wrestling match on it before I decided it was safer away from claws).

Reply ButtonReply

Kerri

Mine got here today. I’m in Massachusetts in case anyone is wondering, I think us East coast people get packages later than West coast people…I love it more in person! I got the “beach please” pouch, the “deep nude” lip products (I wasn’t excited about more lip products but this is a really really nice color) the blue tie dye roundie. The earrings are extremely cheap, I will still wear them they are very pretty.

I got 5 small add-ons, only one had the box damaged (it was a plastic box, RealHer Beauty Blenders) but the products inside were perfectly fine….I also received a Burts Bees protein shake mix, have no idea why.

Besides this past summer PopSugar mystery boxes this is the only other box my husband and daughter were impressed with. My daughter kept saying MINE, I was like nope MINE hahaha.

Reply ButtonReply

Kerri

Oh and mine came in a beautiful purple box! I’m going to put it in my bedroom that has light purple walls.

Sandy

Hi Liz! If I order today, would I still receive the Spring box?

Reply ButtonReply

Ang

Shipping B does not ship out on the 20th. I’m still waiting for my tracking. Contacted Fabfitfun and was told it’s 7-10 business days from the that date when boxes ship out. This box takes forever. If you want the box faster you have to purchase add-ons.

Reply ButtonReply

dmg

Anyone have the ‘Beach Please’ pouch, but would really like to have the ‘Resting Beach Face’ pouch, I am ready and willing to exchange. Let me know.
