The Products: The hottest seasonal items (worth at least $200) selected by the FabFitFun team

Ships to: US and Canada

Check out all of my FabFitFun Box reviews and the Women’s Subscription Box Directory!

FabFitFun sends out a mini mag in each box. It details the items included and also provides background on some of the featured makers and designers.

And there's a card detailing each item included with prices:

Now, time for the items!

Gypsy05 Roundie - Value $50

(You will receive one of eight pattern/color variations.)

The roundie is made from 100% Cotton and it measures about 62.5 inches across. (Machine wash cold, hang dry.)

These roundies are a lightweight fabric, so they’re great for layering. We used a similar one to change up the look of a couch:

They also work great for the beach, picnic blankets, bedding, etc:

O.R.G. Skincare Mineral Peel Face – Value $44

I first discovered this product in the Summer 2015 Rachel Zoe Box of Style

This peel is designed to exfoliate your skin in less than a minute. You spray it on, let it sit for 3-5 seconds, then use a washcloth to gently exfoliate, and then rinse off.

I love that this is a super-quick use skincare product! The natural scent is fabulous too! And the best part? You get instant results! My skin felt smoother instantly! (And no irritation – this is a perfect peel for anyone with sensitive skin.)

Marrakesh Hair Oil in Original Scent – Value $23

This is one of my favorite FabFitFun box items of all time! It smells SO good! I also love that it is an oil for dry or wet hair. I use it post shower at night, and then for touch ups through out the day on dry hair. It makes my hair shinier and softer without any greasiness or weighing it down.

Spongelle Bulgarian Rose Body Wash Infused Buffer – Value $16

Another fab beauty product! If you aren't familiar with Spongelle, you are in for a treat! It infused with body wash, and the sponge is firmer than your typical bath pouf, so you get exfoliation added in, as well!

This scent is described as a blend of  sweet mandarin, rose and soft musk. I’m not always a fan of rose scents, but I like this one! (And it should last for at least 14 uses!)

Anderson Lilley Sicilian Tangerine Beach Body Cream – Value $24

(Subscribers will receive either Winter in Manhattan Beach or Sicilian Tangerine.)

This body cream is made in the USA, and free of parabens, petroleum and artificial colors! It’s also a rich and hydrating cream without being greasy. The sweet citrus scent is lovely, too.

Rifle Paper Co. Herb Garden Set Coasters - Value $14

I LOVE Rifle Paper Co.! Their floral prints are just gorgeous, and I'm always happy to see them in subscription boxes.

This herb garden set includes 4 different illustrations (2 coasters for each).

The only bummer about these coasters is that they are made from thick pulp board, so they'll be good for several uses but won't last forever.

LUV AJ Full Bloom Lariat in Rose Gold - Value $75

This necklace is brass with rose gold plating and Swarovski Crystals accents.

It measures about 18 inches long, with a 6-inch chain drop. Here it is on:

Real Her Playbook Shadow Palette - Value $28

This set includes 4 satin shades, 4 shimmers, and a black matte. The pigment is impressive on all shades, and the shimmers are gorgeous! (Word of caution - one of the pans was loose when I opened this, so open with caution just to be safe!)

Here are all the shades swatched:

And all Real Her products are free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, gluten, and phthalates!

FabFitFun Coloring Book + Pencils – Value $14

If you haven’t tried coloring in a while, it’s great for reducing anxiety (and just taking a break from screens!)

This coloring book also came with a set of colored pencils:

FabFitFun has partnered with Pencils of Promise for this collaboration. You can learn more about Pencils of Promise here.

Verdict: This box has a value of $288! I think this is a great Welcome Box to FabFitFun! They've included some of my favorite beauty products from their past boxes, and some great new items, too. (And I'm always happy to see Rifle Paper Co. make an appearance in a box!)

I ordered this box and so not impressed in anyway. Yuck!

I’m so bummed! I really wanted this box but I waited too long and now they only have the summer box available. Do you think this will become available again when the Summer box sells out? Also, Liz, and anyone else interested, you can just mod podge those coasters to make them water proof. I did it to the “bon voyage” coaster set from the same company (I think I actually got them in an older fabfitfun box) and it worked perfectly and gave them a glossy look. You can get mod podge at any craft store. You just paint it on and it will dry clear and leave your coasters waterproof! 🙂

Most recent Fabfitfun 2017 editors box It’s available now!! Go on the site to shop!

Christin

The editor’s box is up on their site right now under shop. As of 19 July 2017.

Reply ButtonReply

Debbie

That’s a great idea for waterproofing the coasters!! 😃

Reply ButtonReply

Katie

Thank you so much for that tip! I have those same coasters from an old FFF box and I love them but I have never let anyone use them because I’m afraid of ruining them.

Also, sorry you missed out on the editor’s box. Check the add-ons page frequently throughout the next week. As it gets closer to the add-ons ending people remove a ton of stuff from their carts so out of stock things frequently become available. You may be able to snag one.

Katie

Does this box really come with one of EIGHT different Gypsy05 Roundies?? The Spring box only had 3 variations. I would love if I had a chance to get one of the ones not available with the Spring box…..

Reply ButtonReply

KS

I’m so confused – most of these items have been in past boxes. Why would I pay again for a repeat?

Reply ButtonReply

Demo

I assume because sometimes like the past items enough that they want to get them again at the cheaper price? Like, adding three of those things via the add-ons will equal the box price, so you can score some extras for trades or gifts.

Also, I think the editors box is also for new members who sign up between seasons, or something like that?

Sunny

I signed up and got the Editors box. Everything is what you see in photos….. I Did get the Winter Beach Lotion… I love it light smell. Some people don’t really like the spongelle But I love these. the smell is a little strong at first but they last for about 14 uses. Your skin will feel so soft. They are getting ready to ship out summer … So I would email them to see what box you will get or if you will get both

Reply ButtonReply

Jasmine

They are about to ship out the summer boxes.

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

If this is my first time ordering, is this the exact box I’m going to get with all of these items? Or will it be a surprise box?

Reply ButtonReply

Jasmine

That’s what I was wondering too as I just signed up today for the first time.

Reply ButtonReply

TLP42217

I signed up today & used the 40% off promo code. So excited!

Reply ButtonReply

Mary

Where did you get the 40% off

Reply ButtonReply

Helen

Glad we can cancel anytime, as I just got the Editors Box and am a bit disappointed. Mostly in the necklace, the metal feels very inexpensive (not even a metal feel) and I expected a brush with the eye makeup. And I got the roundie that was my last choice of the three colors. But I did get it for 10 off, so overall I got my money’s worth, just didn’t feel overjoyed like I was hoping too! I do like the hair oil smell a lot and I am sure I will enjoy the face peel and body brush.

Reply ButtonReply

Melly

The necklace was horrible! I was surprised they put in the Editor’s box since everyone complained about it when we received it in the regular box!

Reply ButtonReply

Mara

This was my first FFF, and honestly I cancelled just after. I think this is one I’ll definitely have to hold out to find out what is in each box. The items are definitely nice, but not a lot of what I’ll use if I am being honest with myself, and kinda hard to regift.

LOVES :: Well, the box smelled amazing. Pretty sure that is that Spongelle and it smells amazing and I am not even fond of floral scents. The AJ necklace is just my style and in rose gold, which is my new secret love.

SO-SO :: I love lotions, but I think I would have preferred the Tangerine scent rather than the Winter. The roundie is cute but unsure how often I’ll have a chance to use it as I’m not near a beach. I’m hoping it will now that I am a mom and need something to spread out in the grass for park time. Thought I would hate the hair oil, but it smells so good. It is kinda heavy on my hair type so I have to be super careful with it.

ERR :: The coloring book and pencils just seem a little cheap. I can’t really regift and I’m artsy enough that I already have really nice art supplies here if I want to color. And paper coasters? I have real ones. These also almost too pretty to use, so what’s the point? My mom bought me paper ones for the holidays and they’re still sitting in my buffet drawers.

My takeaway is that the box value was higher than the PS I received, but I think I like the curators at PS more. Shipping was a little slow, but I am on the opposite coast.

Ann

Another “Roundelle”, surprise surprise! Ummm, just NO.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

I bought one box (spring). Does the next box automatically ship unless you cancel, like Glossybox?

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

It is a subscription, you will be billed for the next season unless you cancel on the website.

Reply ButtonReply

Helen

Ok, decided to try Fab FIt Fun for the Editor’s box. Now here is my question, if I get the box before they charge for the Summer box, can i later on (say in July), subscribe again and use a 10 dollar off coupon? I am not sure I want the Summer Box but if I absolutely love it, I might. I can’t buy all the boxes but might one more!

Reply ButtonReply

emmasonsmommy

You will have to make a new account to use a coupon again OT on an existing account. After your 1st box its full price sailing;)

Reply ButtonReply

cheryl

I bought it! I just cancelled all my “beauty” boxes they were just getting boring, and I’d rather spend my money on products I NEED. Yes it’s fun to discover new products, but this FitFab has home, beauty and jewelry, worth it over a bunch of samples. I did do an add on for a purse – so that also is nice shopping in one place.

I’m not sure if I’m getting the summer box as I only bought one. I would like the yearly as it really is not that much $$ considering the products they send.

Reply ButtonReply

Cindy

I am a former subscriber and wanted this box. I went into my account but couldn’t figure out how to get this box so I just set up another account. Lot of work but I hope it’s worth it.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

Man I want that luv AJ necklace! It is just my style!

Reply ButtonReply

Teresa

When do we usually see spoilers for FFF summer box? I’m ready for the next one!

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya

I agree!

Reply ButtonReply

Jillann

Wonder if you could laminate the coasters?

Reply ButtonReply

Cheryll

Mod Podge!

Reply ButtonReply

Gayle

There’s a product you can buy at Hobby Lobby or other craft stores in the paint section that will make paper items feel like ceramic after you paint on several coats..I cannot think of name but I’m sure you could ask and be directed in store to appropriate section. Seems like the words DuraCoat was in product title but not sure..good luck!

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

I was just thinking that. They are too cute to toss.

Reply ButtonReply

Jamie

Use modge podge from craft store it will waterproof them

Stacy

Is the annual membership worth it you think? This is my first box so I was going to give it a try first.

Reply ButtonReply

Stacy

Thanks guys I think I was sold before you even replied!

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

I love the annual sub. It is totally worth it. These boxes are so much fun!

Reply ButtonReply

Paige

Yes! This box always delivers a great variety of products and huge value for the price. It was my first non-beauty sub and remains among my favorites.

Reply ButtonReply

KarenG

I agree with Bella. Annual subscription is definitely worth it. You get to choose some of your items, get first dibs on add ons and FFF always has awesome boxes. You won’t regret it.

Reply ButtonReply

Bella01

Yea, it’s way worth it. You’ll also get into the secret shop early before they sell out! Last time I purchased great products for less than half the normal price. And they ship it with your box. And there’s definitely more perks but that’s my favorite one.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

I thought the first box you receive was the editor’s box. My first box was spring.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Depending on when you sign up in the year, you’ll either get the seasonal box or an editor’s box as your first box. The Spring box sold out, so the Editor’s Box will be available until the Summer box launches. Hope that helps!

Reply ButtonReply

Carol

What is the difference between the spring box and editors box ??

Bella01

Looks like a really fun box. I have my roundie to my daughter for Coachella Festival. She said it fit right in to the theme of Coachella. So I might need to buy this to get another roundie. And then all the other products will be a bonus. Gypsy Roundie is $50. And box is 49.99. I think that justifies me purchasing this box. 😃💜 love everything in it too! Plus Liz really describes the products so well, you kind of wish you already had the box.

Reply ButtonReply

Lia

My son brought my tie dye roundie to Coachella too and it was perfect!

Reply ButtonReply

Bella01

👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼I gave! sorry for that 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼

Reply ButtonReply

Bella01

Ok I’m a little confused. Is this box only for new subscribers? Does anyone know?

Michelle

Oh man, this is a great box. The only thing I don’t like is that undying coloring book. I got the spring box, but didn’t like my roundie color and I’m tempted to try my look for a pattern I do like. FFF you always suck me in!

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

I like this box, but I’m trying to avoid FFF. More often than not I don’t like their boxes, but this one calls out to me for some reason lol. Even though I hate rose scented anything, dislike paper coasters, and hair oils.

Reply ButtonReply

Ashby

Silly question–did they change the shape of the box?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Yep, this one is a little flatter than the Spring box!

Reply ButtonReply

Mily

Hi Liz. Is the box color actually mint and there’s just this color, no other version like the Spring Box? 🙂

Christianne

Liz, do you know if annual members are able to select the roundie of their choice for this box?

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

I started my annual subscription with the last Editor’s box, and I was able to customize mine! So unless that’s changed, you should be able to customize your Editor’s box, provided that you signed up for an annual subscription.

Reply ButtonReply

Mily

Oops, sorry, I thought I did not submit my first comment before my phone crashed so Imade another similar one.
How can I erase my comment? 😅

Mily

Only if this is your first box as in an annual subscription and the Selection period for Selected members has not passed! I started my annual sub with the Editor’s Box #1 before that period opened and asked FFF to let me choose so I was able to choose too, but if it already closed, then no. So she will have to purchase this as her first annual subscription box AND only before the Summer Selection period starts (but need to contact customer service and ask they to not ship it before the next Selection period), or maybe only upgrade during that period to be safe. If she is already an annual member like us, then it’s a no.
Unless she gets another annual subscription account with another email! Lol

Mily

Not if you’re already an annual member, like me. 🙂 I bought the 1st version of Editor’s Box as my 1st annual box too and before the Selection period so I was able to make my choice when that period opened. But I wouldn’t get to choose anything if that period has passed when I upgraded.
If you’re new (never buy a box) and this will be your first as the first box of your annual subscription, or if you’re a seasonal member and want to start your annual subscription with this box, possibly! But you should always make initiative and ask FFF customer service before upgrading/buying the annual subscription to confirm because once you decided to buy, their policy is sorry, no refund and no customization without the right time of a Selection period.

Mily

Nope! Selected/Annual members only have a short period to choose designs/item types or such of a couple items in the regular seasonal boxes (the Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter Boxes), not for a mid-seasonal one like this Editior’s Box!

Reply ButtonReply

Mily

*Editor’s

Liz Cadman

I don’t believe there is any customization for the Editor’s boxes. Sorry!

Looks like I’m wrong on this! Thanks for the info, Emily!
