This brush was great for applying my moisturizer and foundation.  It gave me a flawless finish as well as evenly applied my moisturizer and foundation.

G40 Pro Detail Powder - Value $5.99

This brush can be used to set your face with powder or apply blush. “Because the brush is synthetic, it will only lightly hold any powder products, which allows you to pack the most product onto the skin where you want”.

G19 Round Liner Contour- Value $2.99

This brush is intended for my eye make-up. I used this brush along my water line, to blend my shadow on my lower lash, and highlight the inner corner of my eyes.

Morpheme-May-2017-4965

I used the G41, G19, and G1 as well as previous MorphMe brushes and beauty sponge to achieve this look.

Verdict: I enjoy receiving the MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club! I’m slowly learning and having fun using my monthly brushes. This month’s brushes have a value of $30.95, which meets the promised value. I like how sturdy the handles are and how versatile the brushes are this month, so many uses and to have a brush specifically for my eyes is great too. It may seem excessive to have so many brushes, but if you are dedicated to your makeup ritual it’s good to switch out your brushes often and have a variety on hand. Check out their brush care tips for keeping your brushes like new.

I disagree that you need to switch out your brushes often. A quality brush properly cleaned should last you for years! I have a MAC eyeshadow brush that is going on 7+ years and you wouldn’t know it except for the silver paint identifying the brush number being slightly worn off.

Instead, this subscription is a good way to play with brush shapes, so you can figure out what you want to invest in or to stock on brushes you might not normally purchase for occasional use. 🙂

I think she means switch your brushes often, as in swap dirty brushes for fresh clean ones! I agree that brushes can last a long time if taken care of properly, though. I have a few MAC ones that are around 7 years old, too, and they look new. But though I have some expensive brushes (MAC Hakuhodo etc), some cheap ones (eBay and Morphe!), and everything between.

Having a big brush collection so I can change out often and go longer between cleaning all of my brushes is crucial! Yes the MAC and Hakuhodo ones are the first ones I reach for the day after brush cleaning day, but I’ve got some eBay and ELF and Ulta ones that perform really well for the price. And having a bunch to choose from so I’m never stuck using a dirty one is more important to me than having ALL nice brushes!

I received my brushes yesterday and I like them so far. I got a lot of use out if the G41 Mini Contour for under eye concealer. Loving the lip color.
