This month’s Brush Club was perfectly curated! I loved that it came with two liner brushes, one for your everyday liner, and another to really make that cat-eye wing perfect. The oval shadow allowed me to have amazing control in applying those shadows that have a lot of fallout. The precision blender is another everyday favorite that works really well with my darker shades so that I can buff and blend all at once. I have a lot of fan brushes now, but this larger size is my favorite. Giving you soft control that is great for so many uses. I haven’t really updated my brushes in many years, and it is something that I don’t really think to spend my money on. Once I got this box I realized how badly I needed an update though! This box is great for a new makeup wearer or for that beauty lover that can never have too many brushes! 

This month’s Brush Club was packed with 5 brushes! The brushes were all on the smaller side but packed a big punch in helping to build and blend out a complete look. My favorite brush this month is the round contour because it really changed my cream blush application. I was also able to learn a lot about how best to use the chisel shader and the mini blender. Sometimes all it takes to level-up your makeup application is receiving a new product and researching it! Even if I receive a brush that I might not use that often, I am still blown away by the quality of these brushes and I love adding to my collection. 

This was my first Brush Club and it is really helping me step up my brush game! I am really starting to dive into learning the art of contouring, but you really can’t do it without the proper brushes. The flat contour brush is a game changer to use for either powder or cream foundations. It is perfect for adding that highlight line, but soft enough to blend it all out. The fan makes me feel like a makeup artist right at home, what a quality brush! It really can be used every day to either clean up fallout, to blend out a too heavy-handed bronzer, to highlight, or to lightly apply powder foundation or bronzer. This is absolutely my favorite brush of the month! I was so excited to receive a bonus brush as well which is great for me to use on my daily eyeshadow look. I can’t wait to see what the February box will bring as I continue to step up my makeup and brush game, I hope you enjoy reading along with my journey!
