I have over $400 but I added anything I thought I might want along with items I definitely want. Some multiples/max amounts for items I love & Christmas gifts. On the maybes, I’ll look up reviews &/or scout products out at Sephora or Ulta, then drop ones I don’t want. I’m not hoarding items, but I learned the hard way it’s easy to drop items & that beats missing out on items.
I hope the additional add ons are mostly more quantities of already listed items, otherwise I’m going to blow my budget.

Do people really spend upwards of $1,000 on add-ons? Or is it just their way of hoarding items so that no one else can get them? No wonder they sell out of many items so quickly.

My only partially-negative comment about FFF is that I hope the additional customization items are better than last time. I paid for the “Traveler” and the “Fit” additional items…and I felt that they were a total waste of money (for me). I won’t be wasting my money this time around.

Omg I’m glad I went on 2 mins past opening since I was able to get one of each of the herbivore products before they sold out already. I added 70 add ons just in case I want it once I research but dang like $958 needs to go down drastically. Lol

I’ve never subbed to FFF, but it’s been on my radar for the past few months. I was wondering what the typical discount is on add-ons, and are add-ons typically from past boxes? Also, what’s the accuracy rate in receiving everything (monthly box contents + add-ons) the first time around? I think I’ve read a lot about missing products, but people eventually getting what’s due to them. If the box is worth it to me & the discount on the add-ons were steep enough, then I might be willing to spare the patience on a phone call or two to eventually get all of my products. Thanks!

Thanks everyone so much for your replies! Despite a few snafus, it sounds like FFF has wonderful CS that responds & fixes any issues in a friendly & timely manner, which is a huge plus for me. The discounts on the add-ons sound awesome too! FFF has now moved up on my list of boxes to sub to in a few months. Thanks again!

Oh yeah…they have most of their system dialed in. I have only had one problem, and they fixed it quite quickly.
I would recommend that you take a screen shot of your final customization choices, as I know that my choices were different from what they said that I requested (you don’t swap items that you didn’t request in the first place…and double- and triple-check that you have requested what you need).
Still, their customization system is pretty good, even though it is new to the; just beware of glitches.

The discount ranges a lot – from 20-70% generally. 50% is about average. And I agree w/the others – very good cs.

I was one of the people missing a bunch (8) of add ons I ordered from my summer box. Sounds like I was in the first round of shipments but they were still out of 2 of the items. Offered an add on credit but agreed to refund to my credit card without any argument when I asked for that instead. They sent the other 6 missing items rather quickly and without issue once I sent pics of the box and invoice. They were also very responsive…email replies well within 24 hours every time we went back and forth sorting it out. Very polite and apologetic. It was a bummer I missed out on some items and had to go through all this but CS being great and reasonable helped. I was ready to argue to cancel but stuck around and am willing to give more chances because of that…

This will be my 4th box. Usually the add on’s range from around 30% – 75% off RV.
And yes, the last two boxes FFF has issued refunds because of items being sold out (I was one of those folks) and people had already paid for the sold out items. Big Bummer. Also, missing items from my add ons for my first box was non, for my Spring and Summer I had a few. It is just very disappointing. Especially when your super excited about your purchases.

I emailed customer service last week about a missing earring from Luv AJ 4 piece earring set I got months ago in a box. They shipped the entire set out to me immediately at no charge.
And if you get in on time the add-on’s are terrific (they sell out quick). I’ve loved every box I’ve gotten.

I love FFF boxes but the add ons(and their CS) are what keep me as a subscriber. I think the discounts are really good and I’ve discovered some amazing products. Of the 5-6 times I’ve ordered, twice I had one item missing. I emailed CS, received a response in less than 48 hours and my product was shipped in about a week. One time I was sent the wrong item and they told me to keep it and still sent the correct one. I’ve had FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
I can’t wait for tomorrow to order my supply of spongelles! Those patchology eye gells are really nice too.
