This is Look Fantastic's Special Anniversary Birthday Box!
Now, on to the items!
Hikari Tonya Eye Shadow Quad – FULL SIZE! Value $15
This eyeshadow quad includes two matte shades and two shimmers - all in warm brown tones.
The pigment is good throughout, but is especially impressive with the shimmers:
The formulas feel a little different, too. The shimmers have almost a creamy feel, and the mattes are your standard powders.
(Swatched in lower photo.)
Illamasqua Gel Sculpt in Silhouette - .14 oz Value $15
This is half the size of the full-size version!
This is a perfect item if you are very hesitant about the contouring. It goes on very sheer, and you can apply it subtly to help define cheeks, jawline, etc. (The finish is shiny at first but it dries to matte.)
Here it is swatched beneath the eyeshadow palette:
Look Fantastic Unicorn Eye Shadow Brush - Value $5?
This eyeshadow brush was made just for Look Fantastic subscribers!
The handle is pretty light and maybe too thin, but the brush bristles are soft and densely packed!
Eve Lom Cleanser & Muslin Cloth – 20 ml Value $24
Even Lom is a fabulous luxe brand I’m always happy to see in subscription boxes! (It rarely happens, though!)
This cleansing balm is a beauty cult-classic for good reasons – it makes cleaning your face feel like a luxe beauty ritual.
And it comes with a muslin cloth to use with it:
If you aren’t familiar with how to use this cleanser, here are the instructions:
-Use the cleanser once a day in the evening for normal to dry skin types, and twice daily in the morning and evening for congested skin.
-Apply a small amount to dry fingertips, then gently massage across a dry face and neck until the cleanser is evenly distributed.
-Saturate the Muslin Cloth in hot water and squeeze off any excess.
-Fold it into a square and work it across the face and neck in small, circular movements to eliminate all traces of cleanser, dirt, and makeup.
-Rinse the face and cloth thoroughly in cool water, pressing the fabric against the skin to complete the cleanse for a closed-pore look and feel.
I love the natural essential oil scent of eucalyptus, and the cleanser was gentle on my skin, and great for removing eye makeup, too. (Plus a solid cleanser makes it easier for travel!)
Christophe Robin Cleansing Densifying Rassoul Paste – 40 ml Value $8.50
This is a "Cleansing Volumizing Paste," AKA shampoo!
It's designed for fine hair, but I used it on medium hair and still got amazing (almost too amazing) results. You massage it into your scalp like you would with regular shampoo, rinse, then conditioner, etc. (I used about half this container on shoulder length hair, and I'm thinking I could have used half of that.)
After blow drying my hair, I could definitely see a difference in volume, then I went to sleep. (This is typically the time when I lose all hair volume and I wake up to flat hair.) Not the case with this shampoo! I actually woke up to MORE volume! Or as my husband puts it, "Your hair looks....wider."
Decléor Hydra Floral Anti-pollution Hydrating Gel-cream - 15 ml Value $21
This face cream is designed to help treat free radical damage, dryness, and dehydration. The formula is a gel/cream hybrid that is lightweight, dries quickly, and somehow is also super moisturizing! I love it!
Holly's Lollies Look Fantastic Lollipop - Bonus! (Value $2?)
More Birthday celebration! This lollipop has an Elderflower flavor!
And this box includes the latest issue of Elle UK Magazine:
Value $5
I love getting this mini mag with the box - it's a fun extra, and the size is great for throwing in your purse, too.
The Verdict: This month's box has a value of about $88.50 (not counting the lollipop or magazine). I think that's great for a $19 beauty box shipped from overseas! (And you can get the $16 a box annual price without having to pay the full amount up front, too.)
Look Fantastic really delivered on their birthday box! (This is a vast improvement over last month's box!) Great brands, and great sample sizes, too!

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, the September box has sold out. But you can sign up now to guarantee you will receive an October box.
