Trunk Club is a clothing styling service for both men and women. Subscribers work closely with their stylist to find a selection of pieces to try on at home, and they receive a trunk shortly thereafter. Trunks can be ordered as often as you like, so you can try it once, or have a trunk sent to you quarterly or monthly. Or even more frequently!
Trunk Club is a Nordstrom company, and they send similar brands that range in the $75-300 range. In the style profile, you can choose your preferred price range for each category (ie. $50-100, $100-200, or $200+)

So first, a little more about how Trunk Club works. When I signed up, I took a pretty lengthy style questionnaire online. Then I was matched with a stylist who asked me even more about what I like and what I was looking for via an online chat. Based on this information, she selected eight items for me to try on at home. She then sent me a link to preview all my items! This month I decided to try everything she selected.
This packet was included in my trunk.
This is my invoice. It lists the items I was sent and the cost to keep each item. My $25 styling fee will be deducted from anything I decide to keep.
On the back of the invoice are instructions for returning the items I don't want to keep. I can drop my box back off at any UPS location, or I can schedule a free pickup through the Trunk Club app!
These items were also in the packet. When I've finished repackaging the items I don't want to keep in the box, I just put this return label on it and use the tape straps to tape it back up! So convenient!
Long Bell Sleeve Fit Flare Dress by Eliza J - Cost to keep $148 (Not on Nordstrom.com)
This dress is cute and comfortable, but it's just not my style. It's a nice heavy poly blend knit. It reminds me a bit of a cheerleading uniform.
Tiered Sleeve Shirt by Evans - Cost to keep $59 (Not on Nordstrom.com)
I love this top! The print is so delicate and pretty! I guess blouses that tie at the neck are in vogue at the moment. I thought it might make my neck look stumpy, but I think it actually looks pretty nice.
Velvet Ankle Trousers by Sejour - Cost to keep $99
I thought I would hate these trousers, but I actually think they look pretty cool. They feel great on, too.
Embroidered Chambray Top by Evans - Cost to keep $49 (on sale for $29.40)
Of all the chambray tops I've received in styling boxes, this is my favorite! I could really see myself wearing this! I love the embroidery and the neckline.
High Waist Leggings by Caslon - Cost to keep $49
These leggings are cute but unusual. They are definitely opaque, but they have the stretch of tights. I prefer my leggings to have a bit more compression. Plus I think I'm all set for black leggings.
Bell Sleeve Lace Top by Vince Camuto - Cost to keep $99
I am starting to think Vince Camuto is just not for me. I like the style of this top, but the fit is just not good for my body type. This is also a good example of how certain necklines make my neck look stumpy.
Woven Swing AOP Blouse by Michel Studio - Cost to keep $58
Speaking of stumpy necks... I think the fall colors and print on this top are just beautiful! Otherwise, though, it's a bit of a mess on me. I am not a huge fan of this new trend of random ruffles everywhere, but this top also has an elastic neck. Let that sink in for a minute. It's also just not the right season for basically sleeveless tops.
Button Back Print Top by Daniel Rainn - Cost to keep $69 (Not on Nordstrom.com)
This top, on the other hand, is perfect! I love the colors and print for fall! It's a nice, lightweight poly blend, so it doesn't wrinkle, and I think the sleeves are gorgeous. It's also the right length, and I really like the way it looks on me.
The Verdict: I am a big fan of Trunk Club! This month, as usual, was a collection of hits and misses, but I definitely have some winners in there! I love the Daniel Rainn and tie-neck tops! I think Trunk Club is a little on the spendy side, but it's still loads of fun to try all the pieces.
