What inspired you to start your own subscription box?
"My inspiration to start a subscription box came from one of the first big geek boxes on the market. I ordered it, and though it was amazing, it was geared so heavily towards male geeks and gamers. I saw a void and tried to fill it!"
What is your best day as a small subscription box business owner?
"My best day as a small business owner was driving across country with my husband and new born baby, relocating to Nebraska. My husband had lost his job and we were struggling. I started Fandom of the Month club the night before we left. I logged into my account and saw we had 90 subscribers overnight! By the time we made it to Nebraska, we had enough subscribers to put a deposit down on a small apartment instead of staying in my Mothers' basement, which was the original plan. That was the moment we vowed to never work for anyone but ourselves again. We took our future and put it into our own hands. It was such an incredible moment and I'm grateful every single day."
