January 2018 Basic Man Review
My essentials include socks, underwear, and a tee.
They're making some changes in upcoming boxes - I'm excited about the changes to the boxers - I'll cover that in the review.
Basic Man Shirt
Their shirts are intended to be used as an everyday shirt or and undershirt.
This blue is a new color to the selection - with more color options arriving in February.
It's a 60/40 cotton/polyester blend shirt. I think the fit is on the tighter side - so if you're not looking for the more athletic fit, then size one up.
Basic Man Boxer Briefs
This is where the biggest change is coming, and I couldn't be happier.
These are on the small side - making them just feel like wearing briefs.
Overall, I like the material - but can't wait for the changes. They're adding length to the legs to make them feel like more traditional boxer briefs and adding an opening fly. I can see these becoming some of my favorite boxer briefs after those changes.
Basic Man Socks
The socks don't have any new features or changes, but they really didn't need them.
They're light, breathable, all while keeping my feet warm. I'm the biggest fan of the socks - but I think the upcoming changes might sway me!
Verdict: For $20, there is definitely value if you're looking to fill, or re-fill, everyday essential items. The quality of each item is great, and with the upcoming changes, I think it'll take them to a much better place for me.
