First, do your research because you are wrong. 10-20% of women don’t have pierced ears. Many more have metal allergies. Then there are people like me whos were ripped out. I can’t wear clip ons, nor do I want to but thanks for putting me down because I don’t want to diy box items. So yes this was condescending but don’t worry my complaints weren’t empty. I contacted them and cancelled and my refund is processing. I’d he happy with even a subpar option. Before you use words like majority and masses, do a simple Google search because you are incorrect.

Exactly my point. Statistically, you are in the minority of American women. There’s nothing wrong with that. And I did my research, lol. You’re getting way too offended by a suggestion post with a smiley at the end. Lighten up, Francis. You unsubbed, which is what i would do if I felt the way you do. Not a big deal.

I’m getting a sub box from a company with items offered at a deep discount. It’s a mystery grab bag. I may not like one single item, but this is the product offered—a mystery box for a mass amount of people. Why you are getting all worked up about the use of the words minority and masses bewilders me. These are not bad words. I don’t understand why people get so worked up because an item in a mystery box doesn’t meet their specific needs. Pierced ears in this country are more common than not. Are those words ok? This company doesn’t owe us any customization, although that’s a very nice perk. I’m over the entitlement. Geesh. I don’t drink tea. Do you know how many tea related items I’ve received in sub boxes? No, you don’t, because I have not complained about it once. I’ll swap, gift, alter, or simply unsubscribe. I’m still getting a great deal, and I’m not entitled to coffee in a lifestyle mystery box just because it’s my preference. I’m buying a mystery box. That’s the deal. Ugh, I just can’t anymore, lol.

Whatever happened to the spring box? I feel like more reviews could be done on lifestyle boxes and less on pet/food boxes. I have pierced ears but can’t wear earrings in my first holes because of stretching 😐

I have stretched earlobes so can’t wear pierced earrings and clip ons hurt. Prefer bracelets and necklaces but these might appeal to a lot of ppl so I can see why they went with them. Wish the customization was a choice between earrings and another kind of jewelry.

What makes these nautical?

Jane

The name of the earrings is called Nautical. They are great Summer earrings. I am very happy!

Julie

I agree they make pretty great summer earrings… but other than name I can’t see a single thing associated with nautical… pirate perhaps? If they were roped looking, if they had a tiny anchor stamp… but plane hoop earrings. The name was the reason for the confusion.

Beccah

I’ve been looking for new hoops! As long as they actually send the color i want i will be happy!

Ugh not again. Is there a non pierced ear version? We don’t all have holes in our ears, boxes! >:( (looking at you, 80s popsugar earrings)

You are in the minority but subscribing to boxes for the majority and then complaining?? If I got clip on earrings in a box I would be extremely annoyed. It isn’t 1949.

The point isn’t to replace standard earrings with clip-ons to appease the “minority.” It’s to be considerate enough when you are spending a significant amount of money on a sub box to offer alternatives. Choose between earrings, clip-ons (if you’d like) or some other option entirely like a bracelet. More customization options for a relatively expensive box is not ridiculous to wish for. And as seen by the other comments, there are plenty of those with pierced ears (in the “majority”) that still won’t be able to enjoy this item…

Ann

Statistically, you are in the large minority of American women. My friend is also in this minority, but she understands that sub boxes offer items at a massive discount by getting them in bulk, so she will likely get pierced earrings. She converts them to clip-ons fairly easily if she likes them. You can find lots of info online on how to do so. Otherwise, I’d stay away from lifestyle sub boxes for the masses if this upsets you. I have some foods that I don’t eat, so I avoid non-specific food boxes. Or I’ll plan on swapping/gifting an item here or there. Easy fix! 😊👍

This sounds condescending.

Exactly my thoughts.
