July 2018 Basic Man Review

Basic Man delivers a shirt (v-neck or crew), socks, and boxer-briefs each month. They'll vary up the styles and shirt type from month to month as well - there isn't any type of customization process for it, the changes just occur on a monthly basis.

Basic Man Tee

This month goes back to a crew neck and also features my favorite color - green!

These always feel like high-quality, thicker fabric - plus, it feels like their sizing is getting a bit better. This is an XL - but fits only slightly larger than a Large American Eagle basic tee on me - so size up!

The shirt itself is basic (it's called Basic Man for a reason!) - the only thing you can see is the branded tag on the bottom.

Basic Man Underwear

Usually, the boxer-briefs are my favorite part of the monthly packages - this month it was surpassed by the shirt - they have a silky feel to them. Each pair is a 95/5 Modal/Elastane blend.

Basic Man Socks

The socks are an 80/17/3 combed cotton/polyester/elastic blend. They also feel silky smooth! These come well up your calves and really do a great job of staying up throughout the day. I'll be fully stocked once colder weather rolls around.

Verdict: As a person who loves basics - this subscription has been knocking it out of the park for me. For $20 shipped, it's going to be very hard to find a better value out there!

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? The monthly shipments won't always be the same items as mine - so you can order anytime.

Does the underwear run small like the T shirts

I like that shade of green.

I’ve been thinking about getting this for my husband after all your great reviews. I just have a few questions. Hope they aren’t to personal. On the underwear do they ride up at all and how are they to work out in? Thanks for always doing great reviews.

I find that they can ride up a bit on your leg – but, honestly, I have that issue with all boxer briefs – and these don’t do it more than usual. Working out in them has been just fine – my workouts that require most movement would be something like an hour-long brisk walk.

Hope this helps!
