I REALLY need to apologize for being so blunt about the bracelet sizing. I shouldn’t have been online, as I was really smashed from my birthday party and I rarely ever drink at all. IF I’d been sober, I’d have realized wrists are different sizes for different reasons and Luxor box has a history of sending some teeny bracelets. I have one I can’t get to close well without thinking it’s too tight, the Limoges china bracelet, and need to find a jeweler who will work in sterling silver vs. 14 kt. white gold to add links.
I know this is not a timely apology but I had to weigh ” bringing it all up again” vs. needing to say I’m sorry.
Sometimes, sizes change and we never really know why. I have a jewelry chest full of rings I can no longer wear. My fingers used to be exceptionally small as I am small- boned. Then, all of a sudden none of my rings fit after a course of cortisone meds for a knee injury.
I went into a jewelry store shopping with DH, casually slipped on a very expensive ring to show him and the thing was stuck TIGHT.
I was extremely embarrassed as it’s a national iconic store.. and there I was, with their ring stuck.
Again, I know what it is like and I am sorry and I’ll never repeat what happened. Not one single human body on the face of the earth is perfect. But- we’re all special and some of us really should never drink.
I’m sorry for what I posted, which is removed, but not likely forgotten by a lot of people.
Mandy
PS- If it’s any consolation, I was sick for at least 24 hours afterwards. 🙂
