October 2018 Basic Man Review

The Basic Man formula is pretty simple - each month you'll get a surprise allotment of socks, underwear, and a shirt!

This month also arrived with a coupon.

Basic Man Tee

While it looks like this might just be the same tee as previous months, this was a bit different in a huge way!

While it's still a 60/40 cotton/polyester blend, this was the most lightweight and breathable version of the Basic Man shirt that I've received so far - and I love the feel of it!

Of course, each shirt comes with the logo around the waist.

Basic Man Underwear

While the t-shirt was a bit more adventurous in color, the underwear to a much more straight-forward approach. Each pair is a 95/5 Modal/Elastane blend and has a silky smooth feel to them.

Basic Man Socks

Each delivery finishes off with socks - this month's design was a red/grey tone with red polka dots.

The socks are an 80/17/3 combed cotton/polyester/elastic blend. You can pretty much count on these to always be the same. I really love these socks because they can stay up all day.

Verdict: I've been reviewing this subscription for about a year now - and it has really won me over in that time! The value is phenomenal and the quality is top-notch - I find myself choosing a basic man shirt to wear out much more lately!

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? The monthly shipments won't always be the same items as mine - so you can order anytime.

I just signed up for a 6-month sub for my college freshman son. For about $18/month, this is a great automatic “care package” for less than a box of junk food delivered and hopefully the quality of these items will last longer than snack food!

They even offer a gift option that allowed me to include a card which read something to the affect “there is no greater or more appreciated gift than underwear and socks!” which is an inside family joke.

I enjoy your reviews – thanks!

I don’t believe it’s possible to have any customization – but I think I’ve only ever received one v-neck shirt in the past year.
