Bombfell January 2019 Review

My latest delivery is short and sweet - and that's the direction I'm starting to head with these clothing subscriptions.

When you're starting a Bombfell subscription, you'll first go through a series of questions to build up your style profile while also helping them decide what types of items to send:

It starts with sizing and the general look that you're going for.

Then you'll start building up some preferences - starting with retailers that you already shop with.

Outfits that appeal to you.

And finally, the price point you'd like to stay within when receiving your clothing. Bombfell is a styling service, so you'll only pay for what you like and you'll mail back anything you don't.

You'll also being able to choose up to 5 clothing types for your next shipment - this definitely helps with the change of the seasons:

And one more piece of info:

These might be the most important piece of your delivery - this is a mailer bag to send your clothes back in, and the return label - just pop this new label over the label on your box and send it back.

Mavi Zach Reg-Rise Straight Leg Twill Pant - Cost to Keep $98

Yes. yes. A thousand times - YES - I love these. I've always had a thing for deeper green clothing, so finding these really made my day.

These are similar to the 7 Diamonds pants I've received in other boxes, but these are roomier and comfortable - easily a new favorite for me.

7 Diamonds Morning Rain Classic Shirt - Cost to Keep $89

After receiving my first pair of 7 Diamonds pants, I obsessed over them a bit and went to find more on the internet. I couldn't really find many more pants, but I did run into their dress shirt line - so I was really curious if they were as comfortable.

The answer is, yes! This felt like it fit perfectly and had a cooler color scheme. A definite keeper.

Tommy Bahama Flipsider Half Zip Sweater - Cost to Keep $99.50

My least favorite item in this package was this Tommy Bahama sweater.

It feels a bit more rugged and heavy-duty, but I just wasn't loving the way it looked on me.

I made me feel like an angry dad - so this is angry dad Eric.

Verdict: 2 major wins out of 3 is pretty much perfect for me. The pants are a new favorite (I think I'll be obsessing over these as much as the 7 Diamonds pants), so that alone would have been a win.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Bombfell curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above!

Value Breakdown: You'll pay a $20 styling fee with free shipping and returns - Just pay for the items you keep!  The total retail value of the items inside my shipment today is $336, which is an average of $67.20 per item - plus, you'll save 10% when you keep 2 items, 15% when you keep 3 items, and 20% when you keep 4 items.

Great detailed review. All pieces looks great on you, however isn’t they pricey? I don’t know anything about men’s clothing and just curious

These are a higher price point than something you can get at American Eagle, for example, but they do seem to be much higher-quality – so I think the price does add up.
