Trunk Club is a clothing styling service for both men and women. Subscribers work closely with their stylist to find a selection of pieces to try on at home, and they receive a trunk shortly thereafter. Trunks can be ordered as often as you like, so you can try it once, or have a trunk sent to you quarterly, monthly, or even more frequently!
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Trunk Club Spring 2019 Review
So first, a little more about how Trunk Club works. When I signed up, I took a pretty lengthy style questionnaire online. Then I was matched with a stylist who asked me even more about what I like and what I was looking for via an online chat. Based on this information, she selected several items for me to try on at home. She then sent me a link to preview all my items! There is also an option to allow your stylist to send a few surprise pieces.
This packet was included in my trunk.
The front of the enclosed booklet now has instructions!
Inside is usually a note from my stylist, but this month it seems to be a bit of a generic greeting.
This is my invoice. It lists the items I was sent and the cost to keep each item. My $25 styling fee will be deducted from anything I decide to keep.
These items were also in the packet. When I've finished repackaging the items I don't want to keep in the box, I just put this return label on it and use the tape straps to tape it back up! So convenient!
Linear Motion Blouse by Vince Camuto - Cost to keep $69
I am not a big fan of sleeveless tops because I am not a big fan of my upper arms! Having said that, as shells go, this is a very nice one. It feels good and is very well made. The pleat in the back makes it more comfortable and roomy. It is a polyester top with 2% elastane so that it will stretch a bit when one moves. I don't have much use for a top like this right now, but it's still a very nice top.
Ab-solution Stretch Ankle Skimmer Jeans by Wit & Wisdom - Cost to keep $78
I feel like I have been getting so many awesome jeans from styling boxes recently! These are also awesome! They fit well and feel good, but they do somehow manage to tame my "abs" a bit. They are very supportive. I prefer a darker wash, but the wash on these is still cute. If I wasn't currently on jeans overload, I would be very tempted to keep these.
Scooped Burnout Tee by Vince Camuto - Cost to keep $59
This tee is perfect. It fits well, it's a gorgeous color, it has a flattering cut, it has a great open neckline, and the texture makes it visually interesting. I love it! I think it looks pretty good on me, too. I do think $59 is a lot for a T-shirt, but it is pretty high quality from a designer label. It is also a cotton/poly blend and super soft!
Maria Clip Floral Shirt by Foxcroft - Cost to keep $86
This cotton/poly blend top is so beautiful! It actually has a bit of a linen feel to it. It is so delicate and pretty. I like that it is a little sheer; it makes it perfect for summer. The French cuffs are a stylish detail, too.
Tab Front Ankle Pants by Sejour - Cost to keep $89
They only have these pants in black on the Nordstrom.com website, and honestly, I would kind of rather they had sent these in black. I like navy, but these are a little bright. Otherwise, these are super comfortable slacks, and they are a cotton/rayon/spandex blend, so they stretch and move well. I also like the length on me.
Countryside Flutter Sleeve Top by Sanctuary - Cost to keep $79
I am not really a fan of the country vibe, but this rayon blouse is so pretty! I love the tiny floral print. It is also comfortable and moves well. I think it looks pretty good on me!
Bouquet Tee by Lucky Brand - Cost to keep $39.50
This 100% cotton tee from Lucky Brand is really pretty! I love the print on the front. It's a bit long for me, though, so I am not sure if I love it enough to keep it.
Short Sleeve Print Top by Lucky Brand - Cost to keep $59.50 (Currently on sale for $35.70!)
I love Lucky Brand, and this top is a fantastic example of why. It's a super lightweight viscose, so it will be perfect for the warmer months. The color and the mixed prints make it so visually interesting and unique! The tassels are super cute, and the tie at the neckline lets you control how much you reveal. Plus the cut and the longer flutter sleeves make it flattering! I love it!
Metallic Stripe Floral Peasant Top by Caslon - Cost to keep $69
This cotton/rayon blend top is a little heavier than I would like to wear at this time of year, plus I won't likely be wearing long sleeves again until October. Having said that, the print and colors on this top are divine! The metallic stripe is very subtle and gives it just a hint of additional visual appeal. I also like the cut and think it's fairly flattering. I just don't know about buying this top heading into summer!
Peyton Linen Blend Wide Leg Pants by J. Crew - Cost to keep $89.50 (Currently on sale for $53.70!)
The link above is to the misses' size version of these pants; the plus-size version is not currently available on Nordstrom.com. I am so pleased that Trunk Club has started carrying J. Crew! I am happy to finally have the chance to try their plus sizes. Unfortunately, these pants are just not my style. I do like the wide legs, but they are too long and too white.
The Verdict: I really enjoyed my Trunk Club subscription! This month I got ten pieces, and with a number that high, there will always be a mixture of hits and misses. I did, however, get some truly excellent pieces, like the Lucky Brand printed top and the sage Vince Camuto tee. The pieces from Trunk Club tend to run a little higher in price than some other styling boxes, but that makes sense since they carry high-end brands. Plus it is fun to have so many different pieces to try!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Trunk Club curates its boxes based on each individual's preferences as well as what's available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!
Value Breakdown: This box cost $25 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the 10 items inside is $717.50. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep anything, the $25 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase. That's an average of $71.75 per item, which is on par with the brands included.
