Trunk Club is a clothing styling service for both men and women. Subscribers work closely with their stylist to find a selection of pieces to try on at home, and they receive a trunk shortly thereafter. Trunks can be ordered as often as you like, so you can try it once, or have a trunk sent to you quarterly, monthly, or even more frequently!
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Trunk Club Plus Clothing June 2019 Review
So first, a little more about how Trunk Club works. When I signed up, I took a pretty lengthy style questionnaire online. Then I was matched with a stylist who asked me even more about what I like and what I was looking for via an online chat. Based on this information, she selected several items for me to try on at home. She then sent me a link to preview all my items! There is also an option to allow your stylist to send a few surprise pieces.
This packet was included in my trunk.
The front of the enclosed booklet now has instructions!
Inside is a note from my stylist. It usually talks about why she chose these items for me, but this time it is a copy of the note she sent with my Trunk preview.
This is my invoice. It lists the items I was sent and the cost to keep each item. My $25 styling fee will be deducted from anything I decide to keep.
These items were also in the packet. When I've finished repackaging the items I don't want to keep in the box, I just put this return label on it and use the tape straps to tape it back up! So convenient!
Coraline Drop Earrings by BaubleBar - Cost to Keep $38 (on sale for $22.80!)
I can't imagine a pair of earrings having more of a summer vibe than these! They are so cute! They're really big, but super lightweight. They look like they came straight out of the ocean! And I like the white contrast against my hair. These are awesome!
Ideal Discovery Floral Top by ModCloth - Cost to Keep $45 (not currently available on nordstrom.com)
I am so pleased that Nordstrom has started carrying ModCloth! I am just in love with this top! I love the retro-mod color scheme and design of this chiffon top, and it's super stylish paired with the more modern sleeve ties. This is so cute!
Pleated A-Line by ModCloth - Cost to Keep $69 (not currently available on nordstrom.com)
I totally love this skirt, too, but it's just not a good length for me. The color is amazing! I also love that it has pockets (of course), but also, look how stylish those buttons around the pockets are! This is a heavy cotton blend. I just love the style with the tie at the waist; it reminds me of pieces I used to wear growing up. I am tempted to have it shortened! It's so cute!
Windowbox Floral Tie Front Top by Madewell - Cost to Keep $65 (not currently available on nordstrom.com)
The print on this soft, lightweight cotton top is so pretty and delicate! I actually love this color palette for summer. Unfortunately, the cut is not very flattering on me. I think it might be too big as well.
Faux Wrap Top by Leith - Cost to Keep $49 (on sale for $29.40!)
I really did not think I would like this chiffon top at all, but guess what? It's my favorite piece in the box! Sometimes, if done well and paired with just the right bottoms, a shorter top can be very flattering. I love it! The print and color scheme are also just right.
Embroidered High Waist Ankle Slim Jeans by Wit & Wisdom - Cost to Keep $98 (not currently available on nordstrom.com)
I also did not think I would like these jeans, but I really love them! They have the perfect amount of stretch and are pretty flattering. I am not usually a big fan of light washes, or colored jeans for that matter, but these really work! And of course, I love the embroidery!
The Verdict: I really enjoy my Trunk Club subscription! This month I chose to only get six pieces, but they were all quality, and I loved all of them except for the Madewell top. The pieces from Trunk Club tend to run a little higher in price than some other styling boxes, but that makes sense since they carry high-end brands. Plus it is fun to have so many different pieces to try!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Trunk Club curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!
Value Breakdown: This box cost $25 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the 6 items inside is $364. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep anything, the $25 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase. That’s an average of $60.67 per item, which is on par with the brands included.
