FabKids (little sister brand to Fabletics and JustFab) is a monthly clothing subscription for boys and girls that allows you to shop in two ways - you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the FabKids quiz for your child (for multiple children you can add a kid) to note their size and style preferences.
- Each month, FabKids releases a new collection and they will curate looks that match your child's preferences which you can view in their personalized Fabshop.
- Shop those looks at 40% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $29.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied towards future purchases.

FabKids Boys & Girls September 2019 Review
When you first sign up for FabKids you will probably receive an offer like I did to buy one get one free or buy two outfits for the price of one as they usually have this type of deal going on. I was happy to take advantage of this and see if I could use it to get an outfit for both my daughter and son. Spoiler: it worked! I just had to "add a kid" and create a profile for each of them.

When you sign up they will ask you a few questions about your child: their name, age, clothing size, favorite weekend activity, and which outfit you prefer out of a few options. This helps to personalize your child's "Fabshop" each month.

My son is a dinosaur lover and I have actually been looking for a hoodie or jacket for him as we head into the cooler weather for fall. This looked pretty cute and fun, so I knew I had to order it for him! I have listed each piece separately below since they are also available as individual purchases, although we did save $9.95 by purchasing them together as an outfit!

T-Rex Zip-Up Hoodie, Size XS (4T/5T) - Retail Value $36.00, VIP Cost $29.95
My son usually wears a 4T in tops so this runs a little big on him since it is a 4T/5T, but I am really happy with the fit because it is not so big that it is falling off of him or swallowing his arms, but it is big enough that he has plenty of room to grow and it may even last him for a few seasons! The quality is great - it is a thick, warm hoodie with a soft lining and that fun spiked hood is just too cute! The gray and the black help to tone down the cute factor though which makes this a pretty versatile hoodie. He loves it and since the quality is so nice, I think it will also make a nice hand-me-down for his little brother when he outgrows it!

Sporty Jogger in Black, Size 3T - Retail Value $30, VIP Cost $22.95
Parker usually wears 3T for bottoms and not knowing how their sizes run was a little worrisome (although they do offer free exchanges!), but luckily these fit him perfectly! They actually run a little baggy for 3T which is great and he loved that they have zippered pockets on the side. While the pants are black, the zipper is a fun gray/green color and so is the tie at the waist, which does actually cinch, making them a perfect fit! They are a decent thickness with a soft fleecy lining so these will be cozy for him to wear in the winter as well.
FabKids Girls Outfit:
Marble Star Outfit - Retail Value $50, VIP Cost $32.95
Liv loves her unicorns and so when I saw this fun dress, I figured it would be a good choice for her! Again, we saved a little, $6.95, by buying this as an outfit.

Unicorn T-Shirt Dress, Size S (6/7) - Retail Value $34, VIP Cost $26.95
Liv loved all of the colors and the fun unicorn horn on this dress. I liked that it was a casual dress she could wear alone or pair with leggings as it gets cooler. Plus it has those fun pockets! The fit was great for her and she was really happy with it! The only problem we had was that our unicorn was missing an ear! I chatted with customer service and they were quick to send me a return label to print out and I popped in the mail the next day. Our exchange was on it's way to us before I even had hers shipped out which was nice. So the only real downside is that she has to wait a little bit longer for her dress, but otherwise, it was a simple fix!

Fab Soft Legging in Teal, Size S (6/7) - Retail Value $16, VIP Cost $12.95
One thing I really liked about selecting an outfit was that I had a few different options as far as what color pants to pair her dress with. I chose this color because it looked nice in the photos and it's a color that I know will match some of the tops that she already has. These pants were decent quality, a little thin, not super warm, but stretchy and a tad big on her, but not so big that they are falling down at the waist. They are also nice and long which is great for her since we have a lot of fit issues normally since she is so tall. These weren't anything super impressive, but they'll do!

Here are my dinosaur and unicorn together. In terms of quality and value, I definitely think my son's outfit won out, but they do offer a lot of cute girl styles, so I'm curious to see what else I can find for her next month!
The Verdict: I was not sure what to expect from FabKids as far as the sizing and quality of their clothing, but I was definitely impressed with how well they both worked out for us, with the exception of that one unicorn ear! Customer service was easy to work with and I think they both ended up with really cute outfits that will last them for a while! Originally, I would have paid $75.90 for these as a VIP member, but with the new VIP offer of buy 1, get 1 free and a welcome credit of $10, I only paid $34.92 (including $1.97 with tax) and shipping was free. That's $17.46 for two outfits, which is a pretty great introductory offer!
