FabKids (little sister brand to Fabletics and JustFab) is a monthly clothing subscription for boys and girls that allows you to shop in two ways - you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the FabKids quiz for your child (for multiple children you can add a kid) to note their size and style preferences.
- Each month, FabKids releases a new collection and they will curate looks that match your child's preferences which you can view in their personalized Fabshop.
- Shop those looks at 40% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $29.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied towards future purchases.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

FabKids Boys November 2019 Review
When you sign up they will ask you a few questions about your child: their name, age, clothing size, favorite weekend activity, and which outfit you prefer out of a few options. This helps to personalize your child's "Fabshop" each month. If you have multiple kids you are shopping for, there is an option to "add a kid."
In our shipment, we received a coupon for $80 off of HelloFresh and a coupon for KiwiCo. Marne can get you up to speed with everything you need to know about this popular meal kit right here. Owl Be Ready Outfit - Retail Value $52.00, VIP Cost $29.95
This month I let my son choose an outfit and while he doesn't have as strong opinions on clothing as my daughter, he was excited to see what they had. He did choose a dinosaur shirt first, but it had short sleeves so I asked him to pick something with long sleeves instead since the weather is getting cold here. I have listed each piece separately below since they are also available as individual purchases, although we did save $9.95 by purchasing them together as an outfit.
Owl Good Tee, Size XS (4T/5T) - Retail Value $22.00, VIP Cost $16.95
My son loves his animals and I thought this fun owl with sunglasses was pretty cute without being too terribly cheesy. While we don't usually go for text on our clothing, my kids do love a good pun (it began when they picked out some avocado socks for me for Mother's Day that read "you've guac to be kidding me!") so now we have some fun with our wordplay around here and this "It's Owl Good" tee fits this 3-year-old's sense of humor perfectly. Since this comes in a 4T/5T combination and is a bit big on him, that just means he won't outgrow it anytime soon!
Sporty Jogger, Size XS (4T/5T) - Retail Value $30.00, VIP Cost $22.95
With this outfit, we had a choice of either blue or black joggers. Since we already purchased the black pair in September, I chose the blue for him this time. These joggers are nicely made and feature zippered pockets, a drawstring waist, and a soft fleece lining. I love the zig-zag stitching on the front, although since these are a bit big on him, you don't really see it too much when he wears them. Parker usually wears a 4T and in September he was still fitting into some 3T pants, but over the past month, he must have grown a bit because those are now getting small on him. It kind of stinks that they only have an option for a 4T/5T combination because these are much too big and even tied tightly, they still sag a bit on him. I'm sure he will grow into them in no time, and since they are so big on him, they will last him a while, but I would have much preferred these in just 4T!
The Verdict: As a mom of one girl and two boys, I think I can safely express my opinion that boys' clothing is just not as exciting as girls' clothing, but despite that, I still think that Parker's FabKids shop had some cute options that really appealed to both him and myself. The clothing is great quality and I like that it is unique from the T-shirts that every other little boy seems to be wearing from a popular retail line (let's call it Dog & Jill 😉). It's a fun way for him to shop with me without having to drag him to a store, too! This outfit retails for $52.00, but with the VIP savings, we paid a total of $38.70 ($29.95 + taxes & shipping). While this is a bit more than I would pay normally for a kid’s outfit, I think that what sets them apart is the fact that they release new clothing each month with original designs and they also have some phenomenal sales that you can take advantage of!
To Wrap Up:
