The Donni sweater coat…Is it the same one that was in the summer 2020 box???? Looks the same…

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

Actually, it was in the Spring 2020 box, since this post is spoilers for the Spring 2020 box.

Reply ButtonReply

Kaitlyn

What is the mystery item that was an option for either item 4 or 5? It says on my page the value is $23, but doesn’t give any other info. Any ideas?

Reply ButtonReply

Kat in CT

For $23 it must either be a lifetime supply of Eyeko eyeliners or a travel sized Spongelle

Reply ButtonReply

Abril

I got the better skin & co, vitamin C serum, although I think There were variants

Reply ButtonReply

Kat in CT

Skin & Co is AMAZING I have the face gommage and just bought another toner because I used mine up. It’s made a huge difference in my skin.

Kim

I pay for my FFF on a yearly basis and I always try to stay ahead of the date/time to customize – this last box I was online within 10 mins of my custimization time – and was extremely disappointed that on my 1st set of selections the reVive Light Therapy® Glo Wrinkle and Anti-Aging Light Device was not available. I just assumed that this item was planned to be a selection but something went wrong with the supplier or something. My custimization email stated it started Feb. 2nd

I then heard from a friend who received her box on Feb 15th – I looked online and my box was not scheduled to be shipped until Mar 7th. What gives? She was also able to customize her box weeks before I was allowed to – I thought that was one of the perks of paying yearly – was you would get 1st selection. I now know that the Light Device was not a supply order issue but was sold out before I was even given a chance to make that one of my selections. I am very disappointed.

Reply ButtonReply

Cynthia

Customization opened February 2 at 9 AM pacific for annuals. No one customized earlier than that.

Reply ButtonReply

Cynthia

That’s so strange! I’m also annual and customized about an hour-hour and a half after opening (10-10:30 PT) and was able to choose from everything. Nothing was sold-out and I was able to choose extras in all categories except #5. If that happens again, definitely keep checking back as people drop extra customization near the end of the time period. Nothing was in short supply except for the “throwbacks”.

I wish there was a way you could skip a box or use your subscription money for future add-on credit or something – like if life got in the way or you weren’t really excited about any of the items, you don’t have to get a bunch of stuff you’ll end up getting rid of.

I’m really meh about this box and could easily pass (and put the $ towards my savings or something) but the idea of cancelling and then re-subscribing is a pain.

Reply ButtonReply

Karina

You actually can skip your box – I pressed “cancel” and a pop-up occurs that says “skip a box instead of cancelling?”. I believe the cut-off for me (annual subscription member) was February 4th. I got $47 credit that I was able to use on Add-Ons.
I learned this from a previous commenter – such a great option!

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

i’m pretty sure only annuals have that option–one of the reasons i upgraded my subscription is they promised the option to skip once a year… funnily enough, now that i have the extra selections, i haven’t had any desire to skip!

Ragsy

This is actually genius and I had no idea!! If I had known that I would have used that once or twice!

Jennifer

I was caught up in, well… life, and just checked to see when I needed to review my box & pick all my options since I’m an annual subscriber & I was told I could pick my selections the 14th thru the 18th, late and with the “quarterly box” purchases, but I was still ok with that, but I just got an email, no kidding, about 5 minutes ago saying my box had shipped, how exciting for me!! Like,… what??! I mean, what if they send me some of the throwbacks they’re talking about that I already have???? I am seriously upset about how they handled this for someone who pays for the subscription a year in advance!!! And I agree with some of you, the winter box was pretty great, this box is kinda so-so in my opinion, but then we never see the last minute surprises until we receive it, so I’ll wait to make my final verdict!! But I am starting to get frustrated with them! 🤔

Reply ButtonReply

Carol

Me too!
I didn’t even know it was out!
Got my box YESTERDAY
NOT MY SELECTION WHICH I HATE!!
Why wasn’t I notified!!
Upset too🤨🧐🤔

Reply ButtonReply

JaRule

But you said yourself you missed the date for annuals and are not only mad that they weren’t able to adjust to your life but mad that your box shipped even before mine and I did make my selections on time?

Reply ButtonReply

Jodie

I kind of like the throwback idea but not all the time. I did not take the West Elm bowls last time so that was nice. Maybe on the next throwback you could offer the Unhide blanket so my 9 year old can stop trying to steal it.

Reply ButtonReply

Rae

I’m cancelling my subscription, there’s nothing here I really want or am excited about, disappointed because the winter box was SO good and I was excited to get another box.

Reply ButtonReply

ROBERTA LEONZAL

I agree winter box was amazing I wonder if there just trying to get rid of there 2019 stuff. not impressed with spring box

Reply ButtonReply

Kat in CT

That’s so funny because I hated the winter box and love every single thing in this one. One man’s trash lol

There’s no way this would ever work but imagine if instead of skipping a box which means losing a box and just getting $45 back (is that credit on the website where things are still more than I’d pay or do you get refunded?), there was a swap website where you put up your unwanted box for grabs and in turn get to pick a future one that you like but someone else discarded… impossible but would be cool

Reply ButtonReply

Mary

I want everything from choice 2 and nothing from choice 3! These categories are not evenly balanced. Lots of great skincare options.

Reply ButtonReply

Sue

I agree

Reply ButtonReply

Barbara Mattison

I like the items in choice two also.

Reply ButtonReply

Deb0556

I think it’s an awesome idea that throwback items are being offered. Although I already have those items because I have subscribed to FFF since 2017, I think it’s great to be able to offer these items to those that did not have an opportunity to select. I still have plenty of items to choose from.

Reply ButtonReply

Mare2821

Agree!

Reply ButtonReply

Sue

Ii got those bowls in the add ons. I like getting more. But I did get them cheap so they really aren’t worth what they say

Reply ButtonReply

BLANCA

I am brand new to fabfitfun, but I thought they usually hand more options. There’s only 3 here, and for the other months, I have seen 5 categories. Also, is this because the other 2 are missing, or does it seem kinda on the cheap side. Aren’t there usually $80-90 options?

I am debating if I should buy this box. If i buy it next week, does anyone know if I will be allowed to customize in the february 15th pile? Or would my time come later? Is everything good gone by then?

Reply ButtonReply

Melody

This is a spoiler for 3 of the 6-7 items. There will be more and you will not get to pick every item.

Reply ButtonReply

kristin

each box usually has at least 8 full size products. these are just 3 of the sections. if you are an annual member you get to choose from 2 more sections, if you are a seasonal subscriber you pick from the 3 here, and the 2 sections from annual is a surprise selection. the last 3 products are ones that everyone gets in their box so you dont know those until they show up, or read spoilers.

Reply ButtonReply

Chantel

They confirmed there are no everyone gets items and instead three Fabfitfun picks so there will be different items. I’m not happy with that

ro

im thinking about buying the spring box, my first box ever. Do you guys know if by the time all access rolls around the choices are still available? Or is it pretty much limited if you don’t get first pick in select access?

Reply ButtonReply

Gillian

I have select and on the last day of customization (today) I would say 5-7 of the total amount of items were sold out. Not a large majority but certainly disappointing considering annual subscribers haven’t even gotten a shot. Maybe they will restock before?

Reply ButtonReply

Angela Williams

Definitely want to try:
1. Revive light device or Elemis cream oil
2. Tarte contour kit, Tarte moisturizer and 111 Rose radiance booster- yes all three🤣
3. Weighted Eye mask- I have really terrible migraines and anxiety hopefully it could help.

Reply ButtonReply

Angela Williams

The Cosmedix Vit C Powder broke out my skin in a horrible, bumpy, red, rash. I had to take Benadryl and use a steroid cream from the doctor. Ughhhh! Just be careful – but to be transparent my skin is sensitive.

Reply ButtonReply

Jeanne

I definitely have mixed feelings but I’m letting the spoilers settle before I write this box off entirely! The more I think about it the more excited I am for the sweater and west elm bowls and will likely get both. I’m sorry stoked about the packing cubes because I travel a LOT and the umbrella is also super cute. The third section I dunno… nothing too exciting for me but I’ll probably grab the weighted mask. I tend to like pressure ok my eyes when I have headaches and I’m thinking this would feel nice. I also might use it for yoga. I can understand people being a little miffed about the throwbacks but I’m a relatively new subscriber and am pretty excited about the concept. Gotta note that it’s still at least three new products per section so it’s not like it’s all throwbacks… I remember loving the look of the west elm bowls and the tote when I saw them but was sad I had missed those boxes. Also… you can’t blame them for finding a creative way to manage their inventory and make some of their customers happy at the same time while still making it fair for veterans by not giving them repeats. They gotta run a business, ya’ll!

Reply ButtonReply

Mickey

I have no idea why people are angry about the throwbacks because you usually have a choice between 3 things, and this time you still have a choice of things but they added an additional 2 throwback items. It isn’t taking away from the usual 3 things, it’s something extra. People just want someone to complain about. Because people are being so ridiculous they probably won’t even offer the extra two throwback items again.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessgirl2020

I agree so much also if you do the math all items end up costing close to $5 each!!! How is this not a wonderful deal?!?! People will complain anout anything and everything #sad!

Sue

I’m not angry. It’s just their laziness. I have already bought some of those throw backs cheap as an add on so how are they with their full value now when they were like $10 a month ago?

Kat in CT

I don’t know if I’m allowed to go this much off topic but… you wear a mask during yoga?

Reply ButtonReply

Jeanne

Yep I will use it during meditation, Nidra and also as a yoga bean bag for poses like legs up the wall placing the bean bag on the soles of my feet. Not sure if it will be heavy enough for some things but I still think it’s worth a try!

SquirrelyGirl

I think she’s talking about using it during savasana or during a restorative practice, yoga nidra etc. At our studio we have access to weighted bean bags that I put across my eyes (you can also use them on other parts of your body to feel more “grounded”). I plan on getting the mask for yoga because the bean bags can slip since there is no elastic band. Also, for when I am face up during my body work sessions. I think it would also be quite nice during meditation

Jenn

Favorite the items you want and keep refreshing throughout the open time, people toss them out of their cart all the time and you can snag them, especially when it’s about to close. I’ve been able to get anything I’ve wanted that way.

Reply ButtonReply

Heather

I’m really irritated that they always open these options at 9am on a weekend (and they sell out so fast, so you have to be on time.) This time they made it twice as bad – 9am on Saturday for add-ons, AND 9am on Sunday for selection! The only two days I have a chance on sleeping in.

FFF, please stop this madness! If you must make the start time 9am, please do it on a weekday!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

9am PST – I’m east coast. Can sleep in til noon!

Reply ButtonReply

Karen

Nope! Weekends work better for me. FFF keep the weekend schedule.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Really? A lot of people work at 9 am on a weekday.

Reply ButtonReply

Amanda

I was annoyed at the times this fo around. I was just released from the neurosurgery ICU and keep dozing off due to the pain, and or the pain medication. I was able to get a few or the things I wanted. I would prefer for the customizations to be released early.

Angela Williams

Yeah really. I love that it’s on a weekend. 😊❤️

Sherri

A few people have expressed concern about the light device being FDA “cleared,” and how that isn’t the same as FDA “approved,” so I wanted to provide some information that may help. It is true that the FDA regulates most medical devices (there are some exemptions), and it is also true that FDA approval and FDA clearance aren’t the same thing. However, approval is provided for Class III devices, which are basically life-sustaining/impacting devices that usually go in the body (high risk devices), such as pacemakers and heart valves. Clearances are what the FDA provides for Class I and Class II devices (such as the light device being offered for the spring box), and is based on an FDA determination that the device is substantially equivalent/ similar to another legally marketed device. So basically, “cleared” doesn’t mean lesser than “approved,” it’s just a different regulatory category/pathway. This information is available on the FDA website if anyone wants more info. HTH.

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Thank you for clarifying!

Reply ButtonReply

Elle

Do we know if it will be the same as in the past to add on a second + choice in each category for an extra $10, $15, etc.?

I’m intrigued by the light therapy since i’ve been wanting to try it not for wrinkles but pain. FDA cleared makes me nervous though :\ Has anyone used it before?

Reply ButtonReply

Shelly

light therapy + 111skin radiance booster + gravity sleep mask

Reply ButtonReply

Erica

Same here!

Reply ButtonReply

Kat in CT

It’s scaring me how many people are in love with the bowls. I wanted them of course because they’re beautiful but did research and found they’re made in China. Right now there’s a listing on Ebay with a pic of the inside that says “made in China” if anyone wants to look. It’s your choice what you do but I hope at least some of you google ‘safe stoneware’ or ‘are dishes made in China safe”. I’m surprised at how many people either don’t know or don’t care about what leeches into your food from eating utensils. As for silicone spoons and such, we really have no choice where they’re made but there are plenty of equally beautiful dishes made in safer countries. West Elm has gotten scrutiny for their global friendly items while hiding that some are made in China. On their page for the bowls, for county of origin it said “imported” instead of others that stated Portugal or india etc and that’s what made me suspicious.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

Man, choice 1 is a huge flop for me. I have the bowls and love them, but I already have them so I don’t need them again. The sweater is cute, but I’m a plus size girl and nothing every fits that is one size fits all. Maybe I’ll get the tote and just use it as another bag for the dog’s stuff.

Choice 2 doesn’t really interest me at all either. I’m defaulting the umbrella because it is something I just could not have enough of.

And choice three is a huge dud too. I’m only slightly intrigued by the weighted sleep mask, but it is something I’ll probably never use.

I hope the remaining choices for seasonal folks are better than what I see here, cause I am very unimpressed with this box.

Reply ButtonReply

Anne

They are offering the cardigan in two sizes. One to fit size 0-16, one to fit 16-22. I’m not sure how much I trust the plus size option to actually be plus size, though! Especially because I usually wear 22 or 24 in plus size brands, and this might be misses sizing!

Reply ButtonReply

Lizc

I’m really happy about the cardigan. I have so much product it is a thrill to get something else. I wish there would be food or tea options too. I’d like to see more variety. I could do without the straws – I imagine everyone will get those and straws seem to be everywhere these days. What happened to the spoiler schedule?

Reply ButtonReply

Kim

Wow. Cancelled after the winter box and it looks like I did at the right time. If I wanted more I would buy or swap for it. Not what I expect from FFF

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

Can someone tell me how it works- if you pick choice #1- do you get all of the items in that grouping? Or is it that you get to pick one item from EACH choice 1,2, and 3.

Thanks!

Reply ButtonReply

elle

No, if you like #1 you then move onto the next grouping where you can select any number and so on
I’ve been with FFF since the beginning and just love it – sometimes I don’t see something for me but I’ll selct what would be a perfect gift. Either way, I’ve never gone wrong which is why at age 73 I keep renewing best bet for my SS dollar

Reply ButtonReply

Kat in CT

Hah we WISH we got everything! Whatever you paid whether seasonal, annual, editors box or whatever, you get one item from each category plus they throw in 2-3 random items that FFF selects. It has nothing to do with your profile and I don’t even know why we had to fill it out. Unless you order a box from an edit sale which you don’t get to customize at all, everyone gets to choose only one item from the first three categories which are the big items. Annual members get to also select one item from the next two categories. The random items are just random bonuses. What may have confused you is people saying they’ll get multiple items. The price has changed recently but after you make a selection, you can add on any other items in the categories but you have to pay and you can only get one of each. Its $15 for the first and $10 for the next 3 categories is it? and I think the last category was $5. That’s for each extra item. The categories are for the most part arranged by price points so something expensive like 111SKIN will be in the first categories that everyone gets to choose from and I remember in the last box, the last category with $5 extras included a disgusting coffee scrub that I threw out, a makeup brush eraser that is just a piece of styrofoam or ahava bath salts so you see how the values are spread out.
This is my last annual box and I’m thinking of just going seasonal because the last two categories haven’t been things of much value that I cared about but it’s still fun to choose!

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

You threw out the coffee scrub? That is my most favorite scrub in the entire world, and I’ve tried so many scrubs! Why didn’t you like it?

Sherri

You pick one item from each of the 3 categories. If you are an annual (select) member, you get 2 additional categories from which to make a single choice, but spoilers on those aren’t out yet.

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

Thanks Sheri!

amyr

I am getting the light therapy, Murad, and necklace.

If possible I might get the bowls. They are seriously very high quality.

I do not trust the throw back cosmetics because they might be expiration.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

Also LOVE the bowls I got in a previous box. They are super cute.

Reply ButtonReply

Connie Ward

I have the bowls and love them. They are heavy and durable. I am thinking of getting them again as an add-in.
