FabKids (little sister brand to Fabletics and JustFab) is a monthly clothing subscription for boys and girls that allows you to shop in two ways - you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the FabKids quiz for your child (for multiple children you can add a kid) to note their size and style preferences.
- Each month, FabKids releases a new collection and they will curate looks that match your child's preferences which you can view in their personalized FabShop.
- Shop those looks at 40% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $29.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied towards future purchases.

When you sign up they will ask you a few questions about your child: their name, age, clothing size, favorite weekend activity, and which outfit you prefer out of a few options. This helps to personalize your child's "FabShop" each month. If you have multiple kids you are shopping for, there is an option to "add a kid."

This is the packing slip we received with instructions for returns and exchanges on the back. This month they were having another one of their great sales where their clearance items were an additional percentage off so I stocked up on some summer essentials for my 5-year-old daughter!

Group Hug Tank, Size S - Retail Value $20.00, VIP Cost $14.95 (Currently on sale for $12.99)
This tank top was too cute, I couldn't resist! The little s'mores pieces are adorable and it reads "group hug" underneath which is something silly we say and do often in our family. Cheesy, but fun! The tank is also nice and long and it has a cute knot detail in the back. I paid $6.50 for this one!

Rainbow Glitter Tulle Skirt, Size S - Retail Value $32.00, VIP Cost $24.95 (Currently on sale for $14.99)
This little skirt was another fun one that I knew she would love with the sparkly rainbow across the front. The tulle layer on top is also a bit sparkly and there is even a glittery gold waistband. She loves skirts and I am sure she will wear this one often! I paid $9.99 for this one.

Floral Ruffle Shorts, Size S - Retail Value $26.00, VIP Cost $19.95 (Currently on sale for $12.99)
My daughter loves pink and she needed some new shorts so I figured these would be perfect for her. They have a cute ruffle detail at the hemline and a stretchy waistband. They are pretty thin and lightweight so they will be great for summer, although I was surprised to find they weren't as substantial as kid's shorts I have purchased elsewhere. I paid $7.50 for these and I would probably not pay the VIP cost for what they are, FYI.

Mermaid Tank Dress, Size S - Retail Value $32.00, VIP Cost $24.95 (Currently on sale for $12.99)
My daughter also loves mermaids and I thought this tank dress would be a great one for the beach. Nice and lightweight, comfortable and very basic. I love that it has that angled hemline that is longer on both sides and the center reads "Mermaid in the USA" in sparkly letters with sparkles on the tail. I paid $7.50 for this one as well!

Giraffe Romper, Size S - Retail Value $32.00, VIP Cost $26.95
I had another romper in mind when I was purchasing, one that was much more subtle, but my daughter chose this one. It certainly is vibrant! I think it's unique and cute for a little girl. The pom-poms and ruffles are fun and it even has pockets. The giraffes are pretty cute and she likes it! I paid $8.99 for this romper and it looks like it's no longer available.

Floral Romper, Size S - Retail Value $34.00, VIP Cost $26.95 (Currently on sale for $14.99)
This last romper is a little less loud! I like the bright orangey-pink color with flowers on the front and this one has pockets as well. It is almost too short for her, but hopefully, we can make it through the summer with it! If it happens to get too short, this will just become a play romper that she wears around the house. I paid $8.99 for this one, too.
The Verdict: It's always great when FabKids has a sale on their clearance items! I was pretty happy with all of the pieces we received, and I think the quality was fair, especially for what I paid. I definitely wouldn't pay the retail value for a lot of these, but that makes getting it on sale even better! These were cute comfortable clothes and they were unique and suited my daughter's style perfectly. We got 2 rompers, a skirt, shorts, a dress, and a tank top for $54.37 after taxes with free shipping. That's great considering the retail value is $176 ($138.70 with VIP savings) which is a total savings of $121.63!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, although, the giraffe romper is sold out, the other pieces are still available!
Value Breakdown: The total retail price for everything is $176, but the VIP total is $138.70. That’s a VIP savings of about 21%. Since I paid sale prices my total was $54.37 which is a savings of 69%!
