Basic Man May 2020 Review
We received this invoice which lists the items we received this month.

Pale Yellow Tee, Size M
This tee is a nice, pale yellow that is still pretty bright. Luckily my husband has a naturally dark skin tone so he can actually pull this color off. He did feel like it was a bit tighter than usual, but I think he is just a bit self-conscious about the lighter color because it looked fine to me. It is made from 100% cotton and it has a tiny Basic Man tag on the bottom hem. This shirt is so soft and comfortable! Usually there is a note about it being pre-washed to ensure there is no shrinking, but I don't see one this time so hopefully, it won't shrink any! It does have a little note to "Recycle when this fades" which I think is referring to the little green M and since it is 100% cotton I think it actually can be recycled which is very cool!

Off-White and Pale Yellow Socks
These ribbed socks are such a nice quality pair! I think the design is fun, too, although my husband doesn't see himself wearing these since they aren't quite dressy enough for work. Theses are a blend of 80% combed cotton, 17% polyester, and 3% elastic which is usually a pretty breathable blend.

Here they are on. While he isn't a huge fan of the retro style, he did find them to be comfortable.

Gray Boxer Briefs
Our invoice lists black briefs, but we received gray, which makes absolutely no difference to my husband. These boxer briefs are so silky and soft and now they have this amazing mesh material which makes them even more breathable and comfortable. Every month I threaten to steal these from him and one of these days I think I will actually do it. They just feel like they would be so comfortable to wear! These are made from 95% bamboo viscose and 5% spandex while the mesh is made from 92% polyester and 8% spandex. I love the "destroy by" date feature which I am hoping will give my husband a bit of incentive to actually toss these when the time is right!
Verdict: What a bright and cheery collection this month from Basic Man! The items in this shipment were great, quality basics and the yellow was really fun and unique. While my husband wasn't a huge fan of the socks this month (which is rare), he still really enjoys the convenience of getting these items delivered to our door. It's a great deal for just $19.99/month plus free shipping.
