First choice item:
Choice 1 – All members get the chance to customize these options in their box.
- 1A. Draper James Straw Bag with Floral Scarf $75
- 1B. L*SPACE Tie Dye Towel $58
- 1C. Pottery Barn Mason Ceramic Diffuser in Solstice* $59
- 1D. Yumi Kim Wireless Charging Pad $35
- 1E. Do Not Age with dr. brandt® TRIPLE PEPTIDE EYE CREAM $82
- 1F. LashesMD® Eyelash Conditioner $69.95
My Pick:
Draper James Straw Bag with Floral Scarf - Retail Value $75.00
(Measures 15.5 inches wide and 10 inches tall, without the straps!)
I was really torn for this first selection because I was eyeing the charger for myself, but I knew my mom would LOVE the straw bag. It is from Draper James, a fashion label by Reese Witherspoon. My mom is a HUGE Reese fan! The scarf also has her favorite flower, the Magnolia, on it. I mean, I kind of had to, right? It is much roomier inside than I first thought, mostly due to the oval-shaped bottom that is harder to appreciate in photos. The inside is also fully lined with a navy fabric and there is also a little zipper pocket for all of her more important items. I found that this could easily be an over-the-shoulder bag or one you carry in the crook of your arm.
My scarf was removable, and made a pretty cute headband! It is about 50 inches long and three inches wide. (Thanks for asking, Dani!)
Second choice item:
Choice 2 – All members get the chance to customize these options in their box.
- 2A. Michael Kors Bedford Travel Passport Wallet $78
- 2B. Business & Pleasure Co.™ Cooler Bag $59
- 2C. HydroPeptide® Moisture Reset Face Oil $120
- 2D. Isaac Mizrahi Blue and White Kimono $59
- 2E. R+Co TELEVISION Perfect Hair Shampoo + Conditioner $64
My Pick:
Business & Pleasure Co. Cooler Bag - Listed Value $59.00
(Dimensions: 12.5” Lx 8.5” W x 8” H)
Will and I do a ton of fishing in the spring and summer, and we are always lugging around lukewarm water since we have never invested in a decent cooler. Well, I guess we will be enjoying chilled refreshments from now on! This cooler bag is just plain cute! I love that happy yellow stripes and the heavier canvas fabric. The inside is lined in a plastic that will keep everything chilled and the canvas strap feels very sturdy. I love that this is also a great size for a lunchbox if you tend to take an oversized meal with you (as Will always does!).
Third choice item:
Choice 3 – All members get the chance to customize these options in their box.
- 3A. The Giving Keys Mini Key Necklace $45
- 3B. COOLA® Mineral Face Organic Matte Finish Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30* $36 U.S. only.
- 3C. COOLA® Mineral Face Matte Finish Cucumber Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30* $36 Canada only.
- 3D. TOMS Sydney Sunglasses $58
- 3E. BLAQ Peel Off Mask + HydroGel Eye Mask with Hyaluronic Acid $59
- 3F. Kate Somerville® Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream $65
- 3G. Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler $23
My Pick:
TOMS Sydney Sunglasses - Retail Value $68.00
I am a sucker for an oversized black pair of sunglasses. They make me feel very chic and also hide lots of my face from the sun, two winning attributes. These sunnies by TOMS also have lenses that provide 100% UVA/UVB protection, a must-have for my sensitive eyes. The frame is a lightweight and flexible plastic with a matte finish. The arms feature the easy to recognize TOMS stripes, giving these black sunglasses just a little something extra.
I love how oversized these are. Perfect for hiding from the sun. As I was doing inside my office when I snapped this selfie.
Fourth choice item:
Only Annual Members get to customize these options in their box. Otherwise, FabFitFun will choose the best option for you.
- 4A. Terre Mère Aloe and Tea Tree Toner* $54
- 4B. Zoë Ayla® Ice Roller $30
- 4C. Silked Satin Pillow Sleeve $29.50
(Annual subscribers get to pick their item. Seasonal subscribers will be surprised.)
My Pick:
Terre Mère Aloe and Tea Tree Toner, 5 fl oz - Retail Value $54.00
I love, love, love toners, and go through absolutely too many of them. It is just a nice, refreshing, midday pick-me-up, especially if you chill yours in the fridge first! This formula has two of my favorite cooling and clarifying ingredients: tea tree and aloe. It is super gentle and calming to my skin and has a soft clean scent that is refreshing. Extra points for including a little stopper tab inside the cap, which will help prevent leaks!
Fifth choice item:
Only Annual Members get to customize these options in their box. Otherwise, FabFitFun will choose the best option for you.
- 5A. Isaac Mizrahi Loves xo, Sienna Vase $28
- 5B. The Lyfestyle Co. Beach Mist $42
- 5C. amika Brooklyn Bombshell Blowout Spray $25
- 5D. grace & stella Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum $25
(Annual subscribers get to pick their item. Seasonal subscribers will be surprised.)
My Pick:
Isaac Mizrahi Loves xo, Sienna Vase - Listed Value $28.00
Since I will likely be working from home for quite a while, I have been taking an extra-long look at my office space and trying to make it, well, prettier! This vase grabbed my attention because I loved the pale pink and white combo, and I thought the chubby design was very cute. I am excited to stash spring and summer flowers inside to brighten up my office.
Now that we've gone through all the choice options, all subscribers will get 3 additional items that FabFitFun picks for them.
FabFitFun will surprise you with three items from this category.
- Riddle™ Oil Original Roll On $50
- WINKY LUX Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil $16
- Cali Cosmetics Foot Cream with Menthol in Tarocco $24
- MakeupDrop™ Hybrid Makeup Applicator $20
- Murad® Essential-C Cleanser $40
- Spongellé Coconut Verbena Hand Cream $18
- Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Mask 6 Pack $25
I received:
WINKY LUX Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil - Retail Value $16.00
A universal brow pencil? Is this possible? Maybe. This pencil has a triangular wedge shape on one end and a capped spoolie on the other. The shade itself is a very cool brown that is buildable. I liked the color on my own brows, though I did have to use a lighter hand. The spoolie helps comb the tint and brow hairs into a much more natural look. I did like this a lot! Will it replace my Glossier Boy Brow? Nah. But if you prefer a waxy pencil type of brow product, this is a good one!
Kind of a soft, cooler brown.
MakeupDrop Hybrid Makeup Applicator - Retail Value $20.00
Sometimes I like to use a damp sponge for a dewy foundation finish, but sometimes I love the feeling of a flat silicone applicator. This clever little tool has both! The flat plane is actually a soft silicone layer, meaning you can pat on your makeup with this surface then blend and diffuse it with the sponge. Genius! I will be using this a lot!
Spongellé Coconut Verbena Hand Cream, 2 fl oz - Retail Value $18.00
I know we all have dry hands right now, and while I love the texture of this cream I don't love the tropical, very coconutty scent. That is a-okay though because my friend Julie will adore this! I hope it can mentally transport her to the beach trip she had to recently cancel.
Verdict: This box has a value of $225-$477+ depending on which items you receive. That feels like quite the value for a $49.99 box. This was my first FFF and though I found it a little confusing at first, I am kind of totally hooked. I think picking the items was half the fun, and though most of these were for myself, I totally think this would be a great box to "shop" for gifts as well as snag really great deals for yourself. My favorite items from this box? Hmm!! I think I would have to say the cooler bag, the toner, or that little pink vase. Everything in here was pretty great, making it hard to choose just one. Overall, the value is totally here and I am stoked to have some new items for summer and beyond.
