the problem with FFF is that the only work with really large companies and not the smaller indy brands so their assortment is ALWAYS the same, just reworked a little. It would be nice if they could be innovative and work with smaller brands – green beauty, indie apparel/accessories companies etc.

I am a seasonal subscriber and got the r+co shampoo which is the main thing I wanted so I’m happy with that. I also got the pottery barn smell goods and the Tom’s glasses. I needed a new pair anyways. Worked out well!

I have received these FFF boxes in the past. I find it funny that these products are exactly the same as I received last season. There is nothing new or fun in these boxes they repeat the product way to much, also the quality of the clothing or fabric items are not that great, its almost the same you could buy at the dollar store but just with a brand name. I’m not impressed with FFF, like I said it was awesome at first but then they started to send constant repeats.. NO FUN!!

Laura

I agree I was so excited with thinking that fff was going to add things we actually need like hand sanitizer, masks, cleaning products. Things that actually are essential and I preview it and there are choices I’ve already received, and meaningless things that I wouldn’t pick if I was paid to. Very disappointing don’t think I will be doing this box.

Robin

TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!!

Amanda

This is my 3rd box. I’m a seasonal subscriber. I log on the first day available for seasonal. I e never seen anything already gone. The perk of annual is you get to choose 5 instead of 3. Unless you wait a few days you’ll get what you want.

Reply ButtonReply

Kerry

I know you can add on from a category, but can you add the same thing you choose for your customization? Basically get 2 of the same item?

Reply ButtonReply

Jess

Sadly, no. You can spin the wheel and try for a second box with that item, or in the edit sale probably buy another box with that choice.

Reply ButtonReply

Emma

I have personally had the annual subscription for the past year now and have been happy with it. Sure, not all of the items are something I would necessarily use, but they make excellent gifts at a fraction of what you would normally pay. I get a few items for myself that I am excited about, and then, if the category offers choices I’m not over the moon about, I can pretty much always find something I know a friend or family member would enjoy. 😊

Reply ButtonReply

Reina

Is there any other products that all suscribers are getting? Like last month? Or is this it? 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Diana Navarro

One of the items from the customization was already sold out. As a select subscriber, this is the second time this happens. I’m cancelling after this anyway just interested in the items anymore…sad because this was my treat-to-self.

Reply ButtonReply

Lana

I loved the last summer box and the summer box before that, I was definitely “blown away” by them for the price. I got the last winter box and a few others over the years. This particular one would sadly not be useful to me in any way, even for $20. We don’t all need to love the same things all the time. I honestly don’t get why people complain about complaining. The forum is for everyone to express their opinion. I’d love to know what you love about the box and what your picks are. My best friend is getting this box while I’m skipping and we had a fun exchange about it yesterday. I see this place as the same kind of conversation, but with more people 🤷🏼‍♀️

Reply ButtonReply

Peyton

I wish they would sell starter boxes for people like me who only want a couple of products. I really like FabFitFun but the Spring and now Summer box just don’t seem to have products fit for me.

Reply ButtonReply

AnninVA

Argh! Site is crashed for customization. Get it together fff!

Reply ButtonReply

AnninVA

Finally got through all the choices. That was annoying but nothing is sold out yet.

Reply ButtonReply

Kat

FWIW, Anne, the product that’s in “limited quantities” is in category 4 or 5, so only annual subscribers would have gotten to choose their item even if they were all still available. I hope this assugaes some of your frustration!

Kat

I just got through with mine a moment ago, and the Amika blowout spray was labeled “limited quantities” when I got to that categoy, as a head’s up to anyone who might have been looking forward to that item

Mellissa

My choices:
Hyaluronic serum (it has great reviews)
Ice roller
Ummm…goat milk? I didn’t love it the first time but I don’t like anything else either.
Cooler bag
Pottery Barn incense

I’m just realizing that I’m not excited about this box. It’s still a good value but I have tried a lot of these items and they are just okay. Do I need a cooler when I spend just an hour at the beach? Do I need a watery moisturizer? Hmmm…I might skip this one.

All of the products seem nice but, after 6 years of FFF, I might be over simply nice products. I am looking for products that add value to my life and, after 40 years of being alive, if I don’t already have an ice roller, I have to admit that I might not need an ice roller.

Reply ButtonReply

Jill

Ah I wish I could swap with you for the Kate moisturizer! ☹

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

Switch which for what? Lol. Sorry I didn’t follow that. 😁

Misha

Put a bunch of hair products in it. Im one happy camper!!
Cheers glad to have it.

Fanny

I canceled my sub right after reading this. Times are hard and I’m not wasting a dime on a weird assortment of items like this. Nothing feels like a perk or especially summery to me, except maybe the cooler and the sunscreen, and you can find that for way cheaper anywhere… so buh bye FabFitFun it’s been okay I guess….

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

Same here. There are other boxes that intrigue me much more than this one. I did a hard pass this time.

Reply ButtonReply

Dani

I’m only annoyed by your comment because you’re right…and I’ve already paid for mine. 😩🤔😂

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley

I signed up for the annual with the mystery bundle. Has anyone received one of these and what came in it? Thanks!

Reply ButtonReply

Rose

Has anyone used the wow200 code? Does it show that you are getting a mystery bundle? I am just showing that I get a 1 cent discount and that the code was applied. Thanks in advance.

Reply ButtonReply

Lindsey Garrison

Last season, I used a code for the mystery bundle and it also showed $0.01 – fff says this is how they know to add it. I got mine!

Melissa

Was the “wow200” code for signing up for a full year? Just curious. Thanks!

Brooke

I am wondering the same thing!

Lisa

I also only got penny discount BUT that is also what showed on MSA picture of promo .

Amelia

I used that code, and that is what my order shows as well.

amyr

It sure is a mixed bag of things. I don’t know what to choose.

I am just 😜

My annual sub ran out after the spring box and I was waiting to see all the choices before deciding whether or not to resubscribe. The only thing I want out off all of these items is the towel. So I’ll just not resubscribe and wait and see if I like the fall box better

Reply ButtonReply

Janet

I have never liked/ordered the summer boxes (don’t need shades/towels/straw hats/bags), but the way they set up the customize options, I can get something I will like and use out of every category. So, so glad they set it up this way. Also, really happy to see the non-custom options for seasonal subscribers all have items I’ll like no matter what I get. I think they are learning some of us are not beach people 🙂

Also–can anyone tell me what happened to the “fit” part of this subscription? I miss getting equipment and DVDs in this from years ago. I had to laugh when this box was in the “15 best fitness boxes” list (I’m sure because of their paid promotion) since they haven’t really had any fitness items for a long, long time.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

Great point about the “fitness” part fading away. There are fitness add-ons, but not in the actual box. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Kc

Ffftv has online workouts and fitness challenges, cooking videos, meditation etc. I absolutely love it and use it regularly to work out at home during lockdown and busy work weeks

Reply ButtonReply

Amber P

I’ve been saying this for a couple years now. Remember when we got a Zumba DVD and gift card? I can’t even remember the last time something like a yoga towel was offered as an option.

I haven’t taken a FFF box in a while but I am in love with the beach towel and while I see some other nice things l can’t commit knowing annuals will get first pick and the things I want will likely be gone before I get a chance to think about it.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessi Ryals

And towel is gone…I cancelled bc they told me no perks for renewing my annual subscription. Only for new members. By the time I signed up again, they sold out of the towel and so yea. Not liking the fact that things are sold out all the time!

Cece

I’ve been subscribing for a year now, and IMO this is the worst box yet. What a haphazard mess of second-thought items. :'( I’m especially disappointed because I was really looking forward to this box; stay-at-home has been driving me stir crazy. I’m an annual member, and I may have to “skip my box” for the very first time. 😭

Reply ButtonReply

Kenley

I just signed up for this box and I was wondering if any of you would be so kind as to answer a few questions for me. It says that seasonal customization opens up on the 15th and annual subscribers get to customize tomorrow. Do the good choice items typically get taken before seasonal subscribers get the chance to choose? Do we have the same choice items? I tried speaking with one of their CSR but I think she just confused me more than I already was. Thanks for any insight!

Reply ButtonReply

Jordan

Yes the good choices are usually gone. The throwback (items from older boxes like the r and co shampoo set or the Kate moisturizer) will most likely be gone. The new choice items you will definitely get to choose from in categories 1-3 as seasonal. The rest is a surprise. Does that help?

Reply ButtonReply

Another Dia

I wanted the shampoo and conditioner, so I definitely appreciate everyone’s honesty about what will be left for seasonal subscribers after annuals get their picks.

Jordan

Kenley,
to add on an extra choice is $15 in the first category and it goes down slowly to $7 in the 5th category (I believe), but add it quick! They only keep so many extras to add before it goes back to just your first choice.

Kenley

I went ahead and upgraded to the annual subscription. After doing some research, I am shocked I did not sign up for this box sooner! I have Boxycharm, Ipsy, Allure, Beautyfix, Macy’s, and did have Sephora Play. This seems like a fun box with lots of personalization. It does say on the website that you are able to pick another item from the same category for an additional fee. Can anyone tell me roughly what the amount of the fee is? Thanks!

jenn

Jordan is absolutely correct, those items will be gone, probably forty mins (tops) after it opens up tomorrow for annuals. annuals can still add on other options, correct? if any seasonal subscriber wants the kate somerville, dna, toms, r+co, coola, etc. i highly recommend upgrading to annual bc they will not be avail for customization by tomorrow night, let alone the 15th. (imo)

this is a pretty good box, if fff put out a really great promotion to re-sub for an annual membership (no mystery box), i would def think of rejoining.

Kenley

Oh, that is disappointing to hear. I was hoping for the Kate Somerville. Thanks for your reply!

Coco

Hello,

Has anyone used a face ice roller before?
Recommend it?

Thanks!

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

I have a different face roller and LOVE it. I use it when I get a migraine or am having sinus pressure. I even use it on my wrist when it hurts. I rarely use it for it’s intended purpose, but still think it’s great. Stays cold for awhile. I’m getting the one offered to have a back up.

Reply ButtonReply

Bindi Shah

I got a face roller for $5 (same as pictured in FFF) on ebay. It is fun to use. Whether it does anything or not I dont know.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

I ordered one from Kitch and it’s AMAZING! You’ll love it!

Reply ButtonReply

M

Satin pillowcases are terrible. It’s silk ones that are good for your skin and hair. Plus you can get 2 satin cases for $20 at Bed Bath & Beyond. Cheaper when they are at Marshall’s.

Reply ButtonReply

Erika

This box looks awesome to me…I live skincare and looking forward to the Pottery Barn diffuser. When do annual subscribers get to make selections?

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

Tomorrow (Saturday).

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel

Does anyone know if the charger pad works with a case on the phone? I don’t need any of this stuff and going to cancel if it doesn’t. Otherwise the cost of the box pretty much pays for the charger pad. Thanks!

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Rachel,
I have a regular case on my Iphone 11 and have the marble round wireless charger that FFF offered last summer. Yes, it works great! Keep it. Hope this helps.

Reply ButtonReply

Sheila

I have one like this and it works with my phone with a very thin case on it. My son’s phone is identical to mine but he has a pop socket on it and it will not work with his.

Reply ButtonReply

Kc

I read that it does unless u have a really thick otter box or smthg

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel

Yeah, I read that also. Hoping it does. Wish I knew someone with a similar charger pad so I knew for sure. Thanks!

Patti

I bought the silk pillowcase in the add-on sale a while back. It was really pricey at the time, and I’m bummed I could have just waited and got one in my box, but I do really like it. I notice that my hair is a lot smoother since I started using it. Hopefully it’s helping with the fine lines too.

Reply ButtonReply

Julia

No, for fine lines you wear sunscreen every day and moisturizer every night. The pillowcase won’t do it.

Reply ButtonReply

Patricia

You are so right. I am 77 and have used sunscreen and moisturizer every day and a night cream every night, never had any professional work done on my face, plus have never smoked. Still don’t have any wrinkles and people comment on my beautiful skin all the time. (Drink lots of water!)

Lana

It’s not going to reverse damage or perform any miracles, but it does actually help decrease appearance of new wrinkles in conjunction with good skincare. All of my cotton pillowcases fell super scratchy and harsh now that I switched to silk and I don’t wake up with weird lines all over my face anymore (I’m a side sleeper).

Klea

I moisturize and wear sunscreen daily. I recently bought a silk pillowcase from Slip, and I’m excited to use it. I sleep on my back but I like to read on my side before I go to sleep.

I’m looking forward to trying the silk pillowcase (I just bought the one to try bc they are so expensive). I spend $$$ on night creams, serums etc and never really thought about the fact that my cotton pillowcase is absorbing a lot of the product.

The silk is supposed to prevent a lot of the product transfer and it is also supposed to help with wrinkles bc it is softer on the face and doesn’t absorb the natural oils etc.

We’ll see!!

Lana

This pillowcase isn’t silk, it’s polyester. Not worth it imo

Reply ButtonReply

Wheatonlover

Lana do you have one of these?? I’m so bummed!! Seriously this isn’t silk??? 😲. I have wanted a real silk pillowcase for years but they are so expensive. I was super pumped when I saw this and it was my pick. You can get faux polyester silk pillowcases at target for cheap.

Patti

Ah yes. Didn’t read the description clearly enough on the spoiler post.

Izzie

Agree (unfortunately )
