FabKids (little sister brand to Fabletics and JustFab) is a monthly clothing subscription for boys and girls that allows you to shop in two ways - you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the FabKids quiz for your child (for multiple children you can add a kid) to note their size and style preferences.
- Each month, FabKids releases a new collection and they will curate looks that match your child's preferences which you can view in their personalized FabShop.
- Shop those looks at 40% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $29.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied towards future purchases.

When you sign for FabKids, they will ask you a few questions about your child: their name, age, clothing size, favorite weekend activity, and which outfit you prefer out of a few options. This helps to personalize your child's "FabShop" each month. If you have multiple kids you are shopping for, there is an option to "add a kid."

3D Dino High Top Sneakers, Size 9 - Retail Value $36.00, VIP Cost $29.95
I saw these shoes last month when shopping for my daughter and I was so excited to see they were still available this month! I knew my son would love them and I thought they would be a perfect fall shoe for him! It looks like I made the right decision since these are no longer available! These high tops have three velcro straps on the front that adjust making them super easy for my four-year-old to put on himself (not that he will -haha!) and the adorable little dino details on the back are so fun! The graphics are a little funkier looking in person - not quite as sharp as they looked on the site, but they are still super cute.

My son loves them! He is our dino-man and I knew these would be a hit. They fit him just a bit big right now, but I'm okay with that since we won't be wearing them for another few months. These are definitely a bit pricier than what I like to spend on shoes usually, but since he has a younger brother, I know we will get double the wear out of them which makes them a worthwhile purchase.

I figure my youngest son shouldn't have only hand-me-downs so I decided to get him an outfit for the fall as well. He loves trucks, cars, planes, and all vehicles so I knew he would love this shirt. I also loved that it came with some comfy sweatpants since it seems that the hand-me-downs from his big brother might not quite match up season-wise. I have listed each piece separately since they are also available as individual purchases, although we did save $9.95 by purchasing them together as an outfit!

The shirt is fun with these repeated plane graphics in bright colors. It's soft and comfortable and fits him well.

The pants have a super soft fleece lining, an adjustable drawstring waist, pockets, and cuffs at the bottom that help ensure a good fit even if they're a little big on him! He is in-between 2T and 3T so I figured these would be big on him, but that means he has some room to grow. I'm sure they'll be perfect for fall through winter!
The Verdict: Normally I like to shop FabKids for their sales, but this month I chose to splurge on some fun items I knew my kids would love. Those dino sneakers are really unique and fun, plus I know I'll be able to use them for my youngest son as well, so the price is worth it to me. The plane outfit is really cute and comfortable, too. The total retail value of these items was $88 and the VIP price was $59.90, but I did have a $10 off coupon to use so I ended up paying $55.40 after taxes with free shipping.

Value Breakdown: The total retail price for everything is $88.00, but the VIP total is $59.90. That’s a VIP savings of about 32%. Since I paid sale prices my total was $55.40 which is a savings of 37%!
