I have been wanting to try the Elizabeth Arden capsules, so this is a better spoiler than the last. Though I’ve never really understood capsules to begin with – it seems a waste of space and packaging. Why not just fill the whole bottle with serum?

I’m far from an expert but I’ve learned that depending on the ingredients, some serums begin to deteriorate when coming in contact with oxygen. So every time you open a serum bottle (not ALL serums but a vitamin C serum for instance) it decreases in effectiveness each time you open it and expose it to air.

I think this is probably what they’re getting at with the capsules. I think there are types of pump bottles where you could achieve the same effect (e.g. blocking light and/or air), although depending on what the capsules are made of, they may be more environmentally friendly (it’s hard to recycle bottles where you can’t open the top, that may be made up of combinations of glass, metal, and plastic). The Elizabeth Arden ones are allegedly biodegradable.

Those capsules are often given away free with a promotion when you purchase Elizabeth Arden products – I’ve received them countless times. So far this isn’t too impressive.

I’ve received them as a gwp several times too so this is definitely a disappointing spoiler just like the last one

They should not count the capsules as an item since there are only a few and the box will most likely be almost 100$

Looks like 7 or 10. Does anyone what the RV would be?
If LF is using them as a spoiler, they are definitely be counting them as one of the items (although I agree with you).

RV is about $11 for 7 capsules. It’s $47 for 30pc. I almost bought a 60pc set during a recent promo where the gwp was a nice 9 piece makeup and skincare set, but resisted.
