FabKids (little sister brand to Fabletics and JustFab) is a monthly clothing subscription for boys and girls that allows you to shop in two ways - you can shop the regular store or sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the FabKids quiz for your child (for multiple children you can add a kid) to note their size and style preferences.
- Each month, FabKids releases a new collection and they will curate looks that match your child's preferences which you can view in their personalized FabShop.
- Shop those looks at 40% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $39.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied towards future purchases.

When you sign up they will ask you a few questions about your child: their name, age, clothing size, favorite weekend activity, and which outfit you prefer out of a few options. This helps to personalize your child's FabShop each month. If you have multiple kids you are shopping for, there is an option to add a kid.

FabKids Shark Trucker Hat, Size M/L - Retail Value $18.00, VIP Cost $12.95
I couldn't resist a fun hat with a goofy pun on it and my son had a good laugh when he saw it (we are a dad joke-loving family!). I love the colors and the tiny bit of yellow on the rim and at the top. It feels like a great summer hat and I'm sure my son will be wearing it all season long. The back has a nice mesh that will keep him cool and it is adjustable so he can get it to the perfect size and have it grow with him! It looks like this one is no longer available, so I'm glad I was able to snag it while I could.
It's still a little stiff, but my son will have it worn-in in no time! He's already worn it any time we have left the house since receiving it a few days ago!

I was actually able to purchase two shirts as a set and choose which size I wanted for each of my sons, which I thought was convenient and it saved me about $6.95 by purchasing them as a pack. I have listed the cost of each shirt separately though and there were several tee options to choose from. This snacking octopus was too cute and it has several of my son's favorite foods on it so I knew he would appreciate the silliness of it! It's a great summer shirt and while he is usually in size 6, it has just a bit of room for him to grow still so it should last a while before it gets passed down to his younger brother.

I loved that I could choose a shirt to suit each of my boys' interests and this excavator (I think?) is perfect for my 3-year-old! He loves any type of vehicle and I thought the colors were all pretty great and the trippy effect of the three layers is cool and unique! He is really just getting into 4T tops so it is a tad big on him, but that means he will get a lot of use out of this and since he was so excited to see this shirt, I'm sure he really will!

Dino Briefs 3 Pack, Size XS (4T/5T) - Retail Value $22.00, VIP Cost $16.95
While this is definitely more than I like to pay for kid's underwear, I thought it would be worth it to check them out in case anyone was curious about how they compare to the usual brands. These underwear are cute and nicely made, the fabric is thicker with a double layer at the front and they seem to be true to size. They washed well and after wearing them all day, they seemed to hold their shape. So far, I am pleased with the quality in comparison to some cheaper pairs I have purchased in the past which are thinner and quickly lost their shape!
The Verdict: I was able to snag some pretty fun and unique items from FabKids this month! I was pleased with the quality of the underwear and I think the hat is so fun. Both of my boys were super excited about their new tees and I loved that I could mix and match the sizes to save a few bucks. My total came to $58.98 with $6.95 of that being shipping, so it was a bit of a splurge, but overall, we are happy!
