FabFitFun Fall 2021 Box – Spoiler #1

That’s cute, but I have too much kitchen stuff and not enough room to store it lol. I cancelled my subscription, but if I resub, I’d probably either get the toothbrush (bf wants one) or hair stuff that was spoiled.

It’s on their website, listed as a “mini Dutch oven” at $44. There’s plenty more spoilers for Round 1 already out, not sure why they aren’t all posted here yet.

Nobody would ever pay the advertised retail price of this item, but as a subscription box item it’s fine. It is small, but big enough to make enough food for a couple people. It seems very lightweight, which is not what I really want for a dutch oven. If I choose this item, it would probably go in my camping bin, along with my other enamel cookware, plates, and mugs.

2.5 quarts is not very big, as far as a Dutch ovens goes (my go-to Dutch oven is 5 quarts). But this might be cute for things like hot dips, or spiced fall drinks. I do love that this is something FFF has not included in a box before.

The Dutch oven looks cute, however I’m concerned that the material is too light and I’d be better off purchasing a cast iron one. It’s make a cute pot though.

Seems awful light for a Dutch oven. Plus enamel isn’t ideal for a Dutch oven. But it’s pretty. Probably more just like a pot than a Dutch oven.

Now we’re talkin!!!! This is a really great curated item. My mom has an enamel pot she uses for making mashed potatoes, it never got pinholes, chips, warped, only a few scratches from the beater during over 50 yrs of use. I love enamel – no worries of teflon contamination, or leeched chemicals.

I am loving this spoiler! Fall is always my favorite box and this one is off to a great start.
