FabKids (the little sister brand to Fabletics and JustFab) is a monthly clothing subscription for boys and girls that allows you to shop in two ways - you can shop the regular store or sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the FabKids quiz for your child (for multiple children you can add a kid) to note their size and style preferences.
- Each month, FabKids releases a new collection and they will curate looks that match your child's preferences which you can view in their personalized FabShop.
- Shop those looks at 40% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $39.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied towards future purchases.

I saved $11.90 by purchasing this outfit as a set, and I loved that there were multiple options for both the shirts and the shorts. I think we made some fun decisions! An anglerfish tee isn't something you see everyday, but it's a fish that my son especially loves. The "Queso-dillo" shirt was just too fun and silly to pass up on! They both fit about the same, I went with a 6/7 since my son is in size 6, but the red shirt is softer feeling and has more of a worn-in feel.

I love the color of these shorts. They are thin and lightweight with side pockets and one back pocket, but they are a bit dressier than your average shorts. I again went with a 6/7, but he probably needed the next size down. Even with the drawstring tightened, they were falling off of him. Honestly, this happens with all of his pants. He has the skinniest waist and no bottom to hold anything up with! I'm sure they'll be perfect by next summer, though. If I wanted to it would be very easy to exchange them since it is a free service.
