First Impressions
Boxwalla always has the prettiest boxes. I hang on to them and use them for my art supplies. They are hefty and handmade, and all-around wonderful!
The Items
Naturallogic Eternal Milk Vitamin Peptide Treatment, 1 fl oz - Retail Value $88
I think most of us swap to a lighter moisturizer in the spring and summer months. Even I do, and I am usually pretty dry! And while I really want my moisturizer to do the work regardless of how heavy it feels, I am always really happy to find a new option that delivers the benefits of a heavier moisturizer with the weightlessness of a serum. And this lightweight, pearly looking goo is truly delightful. First, the scent! It is a fusion of jasmine, roses, and orange blossoms and it is stunning. Not into scents? No worries. This one isn't overpowering. It is just pretty. The texture is a quick-absorbing watery lotion that feels so weightless but leaves skin feeling like velvet. With ingredients inside like peptides, niacinamide, aloe, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, cica, and more, this stuff packs a lot of power for something so weightless. I have been using it during the day as a moisturizer as well as at night before a cream moisturizer. This is such a great summer-time skin discovery!
Naturallogic Luna Red Wine BioFerment Mask, 2 fl oz - Retail Value $78
I like wine in my cup and I like it on my face too. And this fermented face mask is like an antioxidant-rich drink for my skin. This mask took a few years to prepare for its appearance in this box. Literally, the wine grapes have to grow and then be harvested and turned into the red wine that is then fermented into the foundation of this creation. Red wine grapes are bursting with anti-aging powerhouse antioxidants, exfoliating acids, and Resveratrol. This is combined with kaolin clay, cacao powder, honey, raspberry seed oil, strawberry juice, and hyaluronic acid. It smells boozy but also sweet and floral, with hints of chocolate. I always think a mask with a fun color is every more enjoyable, and this is a dusty pink color that is simply beautiful. Despite the clay inside, it is not drying at all. In fact, it was super hydrating and brightening. I am going to try and use this sparingly, as it is a super limited release that has already sold out!
Verdict
This Boxwalla Beauty box had a total value of $166, which is a nice value for a $49.95 box. I also happened to just love both items inside. They feel so special and both work great with my skin. I always appreciate it when a formula has great ingredients, works well, and smells memorable. And the scents this month were a symphony.
