I'm so happy with the pattern on this month's bag. It is festive, colorful, and fun! So Susan sends the same style bag every month; they are a cinch to wipe clean, and it is easy to fit a day's look inside for easy-peasy, portable access.

'Tis the season for dry lips. This is a special product that combines color with really nourishing ingredients. This therapy for the lips has a pretty pink hue and a glossy finish. This is one of my new favorite lip products. Typically I save lip treatments for nighttime, so I am stoked to give my lips some extra TLC during the day.

Typically your girl loves a lot of color, but this formula was tricky to work with. The range of dark pigments and shimmery shades is pretty, and I found that the tool that came with the palette (the dreaded eyeshadow applicator!) was actually the best possible tool to use to apply this product.
You can see how the finger swatches look a little muddy or chalky. When you use the applicator and tap off the excess, you get color payoff that is more even and vivid. I've had it translate very well on my hand, but it was tougher on the eyelid. With more practice, I am sure I can produce a beautiful look.

I will always love a highlight with a fun color story. This coral wonder has a gorgeous gold glow to it. It is really unique to any cream highlight I have, and I am living for it.
Swatched above, I have the Jelly Pong Pong Lip Bliss Lip Tint and the Highlighting Stick in Amaranthine. I have used this as a highlight, of course, but it also makes a lovely blush on my porcelain skin. It glides on like butter and blends almost immediately into the skin for a not-so-subtle glow.
Trifle Cosmetics Soft Swirl Overnight Face Mask - Retail Value $48.00

Overnight masks are powerhouses for those of us with dehydrated skin. AHAs gently exfoliate and refine pores while avocado butters soften the skin and give it a nice juicy appearance in the morning. I like the way my skin looked and felt after wearing this overnight, and I noticed how easily my makeup went on after my first use. This isn't a treatment I'd use every night, but I will probably use it once a week for that plumping effect.
Verdict
So Susan Color Curate had a great array of products this month. I think I will like the eyeshadow palette more once I get my application technique down, and I am just loving my new highlighting stick and face mask. Of course, I am also obsessed with my new lip treatment. This month's bag's retail value comes to $125.95; you're getting four products and a bag for $20.95, which is a really good deal.
