BarkBox is a subscription box of dog joy delivered monthly from the dog-obsessed Bark family directly to dogs and their people. Each box tells a different story with themed toys, treats, and photo-worthy props.
To sign-up, all you need to do is visit BarkBox’s website, hit subscribe, and then provide all required info about your dog along with payment and shipping details. BarkBox’s classic assortment comes with two toys, two treats, and one chew each month, but after your first box you can tailor your subscription to best meet your pup’s desires.
Want an all-treat or all-toy box? No problem! BarkBox allows you to make an array of changes to your dog’s subscription box on your account dashboard. Whether it’s adding extra items to your box, adjusting your box to your dog's allergies, or reducing your box size to a lite plan, you have plenty of customization options.
Just make sure to update your subscription information before the end of the current month for the changes to apply next month.

BarkBox Pricing Options
BarkBox offers three main options for subscription plans and pricing:
- 1 Month: $35
- 6 Month: $26
- 12 Month: $23
However, you can also adjust your subscription by opting for the Lite plan which contains one amazing toy, one bag of yummy treats, and one scrumptious chew for only $14.99 per month.

How BarkBox Compares to Other Top Dog Subscriptions
BarkBox VS Super Chewer Box: Super Chewer is a part of the BarkBox subscription family, the only major difference with Super Chewer is that it includes two durable rubber or nylon toys instead of the standard toys and it also comes with two chews, not one. Since it contains more durable toys and an extra chew, Super Chewer is a bit more expensive than BarkBox with its month-to-month subscription priced at $45 vs. $35 per month and $30 per month for its 6-month long and annual plans. Thus, Super Chewer is best for dogs who are a bit rough with their toys, whereas BarkBox is best suited for dogs who are a little more gentle while playing.
BarkBox VS PupBox: PupBox helps you raise your puppy with monthly shipments of treats (one bag per box), plus toys and accessories (4-6 items) that follow along with each step of your dog's development. This subscription also comes with a training guide as well. If you pay month-to-month, PupBox costs $39 per month, but if you go with an annual plan it costs $29 per month. Overall, PupBox is slightly more expensive but is best for new dog parents, whereas BarkBox is a great dog subscription for dogs of all ages and is slightly more affordable.
BarkBox VS Pet Treater: Pet Treater offers its monthly Dog Pack box which includes 3-4 items such as toys, treats, leashes, poop bags, grooming supplies, and more. Pet Treater is very affordable and priced at only $15 per month. It also offers a subscription box for cats as well in case you have a feline family member. While Pet Treater is more affordable than BarkBox, it offers customers fewer customization options and its products may not be as durable.
