I really wanted to try gobble, they look like they have good meals, but it’s a scam. They “offer” a discount on your first order, but then they charge you the full amount at check out. I even called the customer service line to try to figure out what was happening, the first girl didn’t understand what I was saying at all, and her supervisor was even less help. They weren’t even aware that there was a promotion. Most of these subscription companies are well run, it seems. For every subscription box I’ve gotten before in every other category they’ve had great US based customer service. This company however, has outsourced their CS and didn’t bother making sure the team knew anything about them or could understand customers. I’ll be going elsewhere.
