Black Girl Magic Box Reviews

All items proved to be essential in this month’s  Black Girl Magic Box! I appreciate the lavender theme in so many of our items! The body butter, bath soak, and candle all had similar scents of shea butter with a hints of floral. The magic journal is a perfect item when thinking of self care as it allows you to intentionally make it a part of your day and then reflect on your feelings after. Last but not least, the book that has been on my wishlist for almost a year is now in my hands and will be on my bookshelf for years to come! I am looking forward to Kenya’s thoughts on womanhood and blackness.

I am completely smitten with this month’s Black Girl Magic Box! I mean, seriously, I loved every single item.  I can’t pick a favorite one, they are all my favorites. I felt that each item was carefully thought of to go with the theme of self love. I was also introduced to some new brands that I’d like to try more products from such as Sugar Shak and Vitamasoues. Thank you BGMB for including items that remind us to love ourselves in this month of love and Black History!

I think this was a decent BGMB this month.  The products were a great fit for the holiday theme.  I have to admit, the amount of mint products were a little overwhelming. I get that mint is a form of cleansing, and so makes sense that it would be in a box ushering in the new year.  It was just a lot as a person who is not super into the smell. I can’t wait to use my new self care journal as a way to hold myself accountable when it comes to taking care of ME! Another Brittany favorite item was the wood wick candle.  I wish it came in a larger size!
